Well, he's a gold dps which means he's just below average across the player base. Maybe good aim but bad positioning, or bad aim and decent position.

The bronze mercy is really shit and more likely to be out of place, not healing appropriate targets, not rezzing correctly, and not damage boosting correctly.

A competent dev would balance/nerf everybody, by a tiny amount, every 2 weeks. Not this sledgehammer total teardown bullshit every few months.

Also what is the maintenance today supposed to be about, are they actually adding anything or is it to unfuck the noregs bug?

Server maintenance, you have to do maintenance on servers regularly so they don't slowly degrade over time.

Blizzard commissions them instead of using in-house artists, and usually through DeviantArt. The artists are sometimes good, sometimes shit, but I think a lot of them don't have experience doing comics and don't realize the amount of work it takes when they agree to do them.

The Lesbian Tracer comic really shows, has a lot of QUALITY shit in it because they started getting lazy and tired of working on it.

But I would have liked to see some of his past life, at least a panel's worth of flashback. Not sure why that couldn't have been included.

I still really like that one guy's idea that Talon and the old remnants of Overwatch are still secretly working together to overthrow IRIS who has been controlling the nation's governments, and their rivalry is only there to confuse it.

The worst part of OW's "story" is that so much of it could be put in the game as maps or Uprising-style PvE Horde modes that would have accompanying skins and develop the characters a lot. This would please everyone. Storyfags get to bask in all the lore and even if they're going to move the actual current story ahead slowly, at least the backstory will be fully explorable. People who play to just shoot people will get new maps and skins.

Like they could release a Young Roadhog skin from his ALF days and have the attack on the Omnium as a multiplayer and PvE map where you're trying to blow it up. Maybe Junkrat's dad was there and you could have a Junkrat skin that makes him look like him.
They could have you play through the coup at OW HQ where Jack and Gabe supposedly died, have it in Multiplayer as a Control/2CP map or something, the Arcade version can have one player on each team randomly selected to be Jack or Gabe with buffed health.

They could do a lot with it, and they just don't. Instead there's some shitty 10 page comic every couple months or waiting 9 months to watch some fat chick brush her teeth.

I do this to my gold girlfriend. The sad thing is that sometimes we still lose when I have over 50 elimse and like 20k damage. You can win most but not all.

I think that is highly unlikely after the Ana and Doomfist comics. Reaper seems pretty willing to kill his old buddies and even if he isn't Doomfist seems to want it to happen.

I think a more likely scenario is that Winston and Tracer will get a new OW together while s76 and Ana will find out some secret conspiracy that will require them to join forces.
Then there will be redemption arcs for Widow, Reaper and maybe something for Sombra (although she already seems to be doing her own thing) and they can take on the megahuge new threat.

If blizz is smart they will steer the story in this direction and hit this point at the exact same time when the PvE co-op OW expansion/new game comes out.
