ugly and overpriced

Hello Achmed, nice to see you enjoy life in yurop

The best choice is obviously the Astra OPC

>Buying Opel
>EVER

if you need a 'luxury hothatch' that isn't fwd, then m140i.
then again I don't like design of either of them and would recommend pro cee'd gt or i30N. same value for much less money, fwd though.

>looks nice
>reliable
>not as expensive as the others

Anyone who hates Opel is just some memelord who never drove one.

>astraposter at it again
user pls, no one gets an opel because they want to.
OP, which size hatch? If it's a B segment probably the S1 or polo R because muh awd seems fun in a relatively small car. For a C segment probably the A45 or focus rs

lol

the last inline 6 rwd hatch in history of course.

you do realize that Opel is a dead brand, right? It's basically rebadged Peugeot now that PSA bought them. You're paying for german car and you get a french one, it's amazing business model really.

Name a single rebadged Peugeot in their line up. PSA may own them now, but not a single car in their line up has anything to do with PSA. It's all GM right now for the moment.

The Mk7 Fiesta ST is probably the purest hot hatch on sale today
Overall-Clio V6

The Crossland is a rebadged 3008

*understeers into your path*
nothing personnel, kiddo

It's a high-powered FWD car, if you plant your foot going into a corner of course it'll understeer
You can avoid it by not going into corners at full throttle

The up! GTI takes the crown as the purest hot hatch.

>thinks the Opel understeers
>Wants a VW
lmao!!!!!!

No, the chassis is literally made out of noodles, or in Germany's case out Knödel. Same goes with the same gen Vectra, the chassis was so shit, that they were MADE to introduce Stability Control that applies brake to the inner rear wheel every time you turn the wheel because it would otherwise understeer into a tree. You change rear pads 3-4 times as often.
Also, I don't remember the Ford Focus RS being an understeer machine, even in the 500 option, which is 50% more powerful.
You got BTFO'd in your shitty thread yesterday, you have no say on the matter, and I would never buy a VAG product in my life ever. My neighbor got an Astra and a Vectra and they were shit.

I thought the answer was pretty obvious

it's not all Peugeot tho, you're right on that point

false.
rear bias awd>front bias awd
nice interior>cheap shit interior
i6>i4

Only comes with 8 speed auto :c

nope, 6 speed manual comes standard

An anti roll bar solved 99% of the chassis problems

Stage 1 Polo GTI

>has never driven any of the cars they're bashing
>has never driven

No one cares about a busrider's opinion.

What is this dumb thread? m140i is almost 10k more expensive.

no where on this planet the m140i is 10k more expensive.
except for the gimped australian golf.

nvm, spoke too fast.

I think you mean the last model friendo

Fuck golf R. 40k km in.
Yesterday we read error codes because the indicator stopped working in the front.
The haldex pump stopped working at 30k km and nothing came Up.
No warning light ... It was serviced 2 months ago at the VW Dealer and they didnt even check the Codes

Really pissed at VW

your fault for buying anything from VAG. learn from the experience and never do that again.

Well looks like Australia got cucked, I tried to m spec it and no manual
+stuff rear sway, lowering springs and better wheels/ tires
Was it a VW dealer or VW? I got a Polo GTI through a VW “dealer” (Frizelles auto group” and while they’re okay you have to be very specific about what you want checked out otherwise it won’t get done

weird because there are plenty manual m140is in carsales au

?

Official VW Dealer and service Yeah...

Civic for 3k. Why spend good car money on a econobox with awd?

I used to own this. It torque steers like a pig and has no feedback thru the wheel

Aside from being a huge step down from its lupo gti predecessor

lol, the Up GTI isn't an Abarth 595.

I'm buying one.

This thing is amazing.

step aside faggots

well this was my favourite car but as a kid...

you were a kid last year?

The Civic Type R has existed for over 20 years

>tfw no M140i in the US

>best hatch?
honda fit

why isn't BMW CCA filing a petition for it?

not in the US :^)

> Astra
Wewwww

Obiously, because they bought them in midterm of their model line - the new corsa and other new models being released in 2018+ will stand upon the psa platform.

That's actually a good question
