This engine makes my quincy become the big quincy
>627 lb-ft of torque
Wait... So is this a V Sport a full-on V?
no, its supposed to be sporty but its not going to have big brembos or be as fast as a CTS-V for example.
Hardly. The CTS V already goes toe to toe with the e63 AMG and the M5. Off the top of my head, I don't know exactly what cars this is designed to compete with because I don't know its price tag, but if it's got AWD, the biggest drawback to the CTS V, we'll be seeing it competing very well in shootouts next year.

V sport
it would be like a ///M750i if that car existed
Why don't you STFU and appreciate what they have created here. Look I'm not a PR person or any shit here but I'm a car person and got excited in this news.
>TT
>DOHC V8
I bet this is a smaller version of the engine going into the Zora Corvette
>mfw 627lb.ft. of torque
I guess my CTS V-Sport is now completely worthless. It's great going from $60k to $20k in four years.
that's the problem with keeping up
Maybe a Zora Vette GTE or something
>buying a $60k car when you could have bought a $40k daily driver, a $5k shitbox and had $15k for parts
dug

But you won't get that engine you like ya faggot.
>the engine is the only thing that matters
faggot
>4.2 liter
come on, that's a baby v8
>there are actually V6s with more dickplacement
>mfw Vortec 4.3
Its only a matter of time before they use this in the Cadillac DPis for IMSA. they could make the horsepower and torque figures they need whilst remaining well below the displacement limit of 5.5 L.
Fucking beast I hope I see one in Europe in near future.
GM doesn't care about yurop
Europ doesn't care about GM rather
This, with Opel sold to PSA they literally pulled out of Europe altogether
Now make a wagon variant.
>tfw no manual
Why even live?
Cadillac is a luxury brand, not an economy brand.
>implying the classiest luxury cars aren't manual
So is this motor like a Northstar 2.0?
It will eat headgaskets?
Ugly front end
pretty compact for a DOHC twin turbo, or are the turbos not hidden in the subassembly?
not anymore, they're all paddle shifters
It's a hot Vee like the yurotrash V8s
so? new cars aren't as classy as old ones.
what's new.
It's pretty safe to assume this will be in the C8 Corvette, right?
>10 speed auto transmission
WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING MORE THAN 6 GEARS I MEAN SERIOUSLY
>TWIN TURBO V8
>still slower than a gt-r
Sad!
God its ugly
Also, I found this funny. The rear was supposed to be like this:
Here's how it is:
meanwhile in yurop
Someone's trying to be Lexus
>Du willst abschleppen, gehst in eine Discothek rein
>Doch keine Bitch steigt in einen Citroën ein
No woman will get in your 4 cylinder jewmason car
youtube.com
I unironically think that looks good
All hail! the GM DOHC V8 is back
add a shitload of overdrive gears to bump up highway mpg and pass emissions.
>Cadillac DOHC V8
Yay, we're gonna see good progress
>Northstar 2.0
I'm worried.
cadillac is still present here in yurop, and with new better products and realistic goal of 5000 sales a year they can make it, I would buy caddy over germans any day
>5000 European sales
BMW sells 10,000 5-series a month
How can this be profitable for GM?
GM is selling a decent amound Daewoos as Chevrolet in Europe so my guess is they can use that infrastructure to move some muscle units for those who like Corvettes, Camaros, Caddies.
Simple. People see a CTS or whatever, think they're cool and buy a new Opel.
That's how flagships work.
>opel
Show me anywhere in the world that still sells Daewoos.
I'll wait.
In Europe Daewoos are sold as Chevrolets, in Australia they're being sold as Holden.
topgear.com
The only models they sell in Europe are the Camaro and the Corvette.

>You won’t be able to buy those vehicles after 2015.
Didn't know that, they're still on the road
>GM is taking losses only to provide Yuro enthusiasts with proper US muscle
BASED
They should've tried harder, they were going fairly steady.
+Cadillacs and I have also seen Volts
They're not Daewoos if no country sells them as Daewoos. Even in South Korea, They're Chevrolets. The Daewoo brand was killed off 8 years ago.
They're still kimchi cars user, no matter what label you put on them
The point is nothing out now was designed as a Daewoo. Hell, 99% of them were engineered elsewhere
I tried to make it look more "Cadillac"
>///M
>nigga they put a tv in the grill
post the rest of the car so i can laugh at how ugly it is
