>til royal enfield is owned by designated shitters
When did this happen? Wasn’t RE a Brit company?

And a warped head

And India was a British colony. My guess is the Brits put up some factories to use the poos for cheap labor, then the poos kept the factories and made some kind of deal to keep the name.
Tyler Gutierrez
That’s disappointing.
There’s a Royal Enfield dealership near where I’m at, and I fell in love with the Classic 500 they have on display. Now I’m having second thoughts asking the dealership about said bike. I hear about reliability issues around poo-in-loo made bikes.

Just get a Jap bike if you actually want to ride.
Liam Edwards
Nice swingarm bag, friend. I cheaped out and used an old fork bag from another bike. Just big enough to fit a grip lock, insurance papers, and a spare fuel bottle.
its a shame because poofields actually look good, but i mean, everything indian is shitty so.......
Nolan Gray
I want to see the dick.
Christian Turner
Are vmax hard to ride?
Wyatt Reyes
Should have come to SEM
Evan Rodriguez
RE went broke and TahTah bought it same with Jaguar.
Adrian Wright
The feel pretty well weighted to me. Haven't ridden one but I did sit on one and toss it about a bit at a motorcycle show a couple months ago, easier to toss around than a Road King.
>worst sounding engines that explode (ducati) I'll pass.
Julian Wright
Sexy.
You'd smoke most nakeds too, honestly.

How cold is too cold to ride? I wanna pick up my new bike this Saturday but it's going to only be 3C (37F for burgers). It'll be a 40 minute ride home.
Handguards and heated grips help. So does proper gear. If your hands get cold you can stop and warm them on the exhaust. 3° isn't ideal but perfectly doable. I went on a 2 1/2 hour joyride in 0° weather last week, stopped once for a pee break. You can stuff newspaper down your suit too, that helps insulate you against the cold.
The only thing that could make riding miserable at that temperature is if it rains or otherwise you get clammy. Still, 40 minutes is nothing. You'll be fine.
>how cold is too cold to ride -10 or under, for me. I won't go on joyrides below freezing but if I _need_ to get somewhere by bike, I'll do it as long as there's no snow / ice on the roads.
Jacob Morris
Nothing under like 50F for me I ride for pleasure not to be miserable.
Too far below freezing and I worry more about ice than comfort. It would be beneficial if the roads heated up past 35 or so degrees for a little while.
Sebastian Hughes
I wont ride if it was wet before a freeze, but I've been riding at 0/-10 for in town stuff. Once you're out on the highway cruising heated grips are a must, but otherwise just appropriate gear and layers is all you need.
Liam Nelson
Jokes on you i already cam all over onsa.
Eli Peterson
taking a shit rn

Keep us updated.

Thanks guys. I'm going to dress warmly and pick it up!
Offered this dude 4200 cash, think hell go for it?

depends on the rider and speed desu. for me anything below 50 (burger units) is pic related, riding with the sun out vs overcast makes it feel 10 degrees better or worse. basic clothing layering is really all you need and depends on what you currently have and how much you’re willing to spend
T H I C C thermal base layer (can double up if you want) regular pants/shirt fleece jacket leather riders jacket (or gortex) to break wind gortex pants to break wind if need be dedicated winter gloves or latex gloves+whatever gloves you got hand, feet and face will generally get cold regardless
tl;dr stopping the wind pulling the heat out is how you ride in cold, just layer up and have a hardshell jacket and pants since it’s essential for cold and wet summer weather
they're carbs that's what's wrong with them. join this century famaladingdang

I've been commuting 70 km in 2°C t 6°C every morning for the last few weeks. It's definitely chilly but plenty bearable. No heated gear or grips. I just wear a full face, snowmobile gloves, and about $20 worth of cheap base layers from Value Village (wool and polyester).
If your hands get cold hold them to the cylinder heads at stop lights or pull over and stretch the openings of your gloves over your tail pipes for a minute (if you have end caps, don't be silly if they're bare metal).
>If your hands get cold hold them to the cylinder heads at stop lights This works like a charm. Won't burn your gloves and heats them up just enough to be cozy and bearable.

Yes.

Awesome. Im checking it out on tuesday unless i can get off work early tomorrow
I'm glad you went with the Bolt, you'll enjoy it. Going into debt for a bike isn't worth it, that lingers in your head and stresses you out forever until it's completely gone.
>not the GT What good is it if you can't go comfortably on long trips with her?
Liam Jenkins
Comfiest bike you've ever ridden? Goldwing for me

25mpg and the thing is GIGANTIC. I'm 6'2 and you had to man spread pretty good on the damn thing. It doesn't matter how fast it is or how nice it was, I was looking for something to put serious miles on and the thought of a sub 100 mile range really killed it for me, I think that's all yamaha really thought anyone was going to tolerate the thing. I went with a Vrod instead. much more comfy (remember I'm tall), I can tuck my legs in better, and a pretty good range.
Since everybody is dying to know, I talked to my new boss.. she said its good to take classes and that its okay if its just one week. I apologized like a Japanese man and everything went better than expected.
