Use the clutch.
There isn't a scenario on the street when utchless shifting is absolutely necessary.
If you want to do it anyway, only on upshifts and only from second gear. Going from first to second without the clutch will ruin second gear.
You ~can~ clutchless downshift but your rev matching needs to be on point otherwise you're grinding/shocking the gearbox.

This guy is right. I've worked on dozens of motors that have received this treatment and if they didn't burn out the shift forks the dogs were rounded down to death.
Dead second gear is the most common transmission issue, occurs pretty frequently with translogic quickshifters that weren't set up properly.

The 125 is not that cheap to run and the nc700 is extremely frugal. The more you know.

What got me interested was how expensive tyres are for the 125. Between that and the short service intervals and lack of tax breaks for small CC bikes in my state, and it really struggles to justify itself.
