Expanding somewhat from last thread. Anybody got any fun ideas as to what can be done with the Philosopher-King type heroes such as Caesar? Making them Ruler seems obvious but also kind of lazy.

Nasu himself said that the star rate system is not canon. After the game became popular they stopped doing 1 and 2 stars, and almost don't even do 3 star anymore. They realised that is easier to just make all of them 4 an 5 stars so people will whale, don't matter how stupid it is.

Having a cool Roman servant could take the spotlight from Nero and we can't have that.

If you're talking about conquerors who weren't necessarily great fighters, you could make them a rider or caster, with their armies as their NP. Not exactly original, but eh.

You could also have NPs be related to a feat they are famous for, such as Caesar crossing the Rubicon or Constantine's conversion to Christianity.

They're different things entirely. Kintoki is a nuke that can get off his NP really easily and has significantly higher attack, whereas Herakles is better for long-lasting encounters.

Kintoki is the hardest hitting servant in the game so no.

It's the other way around. Herc is gonna be useless if you have Kintoki for a good year and a half.
Once enemies start having triple layers of HP and Herc has his bond CE then the roles will reverse and Kintoki will go under.

Right now there's 0 reason to bring Herc if you have Kintoki.

Characters in swimsuit are 4 or 5 (depending on if their previous versions were 5 or 5) while Cu that is top tier in lore (or at least that is what they say even if he always jobs due to E luck) only has three stars or motherfucking Heracles only has 4.

The star rating system is about how hard it is to summon the servant, not how famous or strong they are.

Of course, more famous and strong servants are hard to summon but at the same time those same servants like Cu and Heracles might be more willing to help out
