Ruined the look in the front. Grill looks bad now but the side and back look good. Interior is much worse. The angled center dash makes it look horrible. And they kept the same price point meaning it will not sell well like previous models. It’s just too expensive and most would rather go for a premuim brand instead.

The touareg is a luxury vehicle. It shares a platform with the Bentayga and Cayenne and it seats 5, it's kind of an executive SUV. The Atlas is just a family hauler.

I think the Atlas looks like something they had to come up with on a whim, because they lacked a ''family suv'' 7 seater in their model range. I don't like it at all - looks like a mixture of different SUVs of that category. But i'm told it's a pretty good car, after all it has all the proven tech of the company in it.

My uncle used to have the V10 twin turbo diesel Touareg, it was extremely fast for a diesel SUV and the torque was unbelievable but the car broke down so much. He ended up selling and buying a newer V8 one instead
