Anything better than a WRX?

Alright, Veeky Forums, what's a better new car under $30k than the WRX premium/limited for fun dailying? The BRZ also looks great but seems fairly underpowered for what it is. Hit me up with your suggestions and reasoning!

It seems like unnecessarily drivetrain/mpg losses unless you're in an area with chain/awd requirements

Put some money on the side for the WRX for a tune. The WRX really aren't fun completely stock, but a few modification its hard to beat it.

The point is more about the degree to which it triggers/pol/ (lots), not that the two things are at all comparable. Learn to reading comprehension.

If your commute is filled with traffic, it really is a huge waste of money. you're paying for ponies that you'll never use and this car is super sensitive to any modification.

Otherwise, it's a nice car.

I'm actually in the same boat as OP. Even thinking about a Fiata Abarth because used ones with less thank 10k miles are going about $23k

new V6 camaro with a manual is $31k. You can procharge it down the line and actually make good power but it still makes 330 from the factory. Gen 6 camaro is a really good handling chassis too.

this is the only real advice you'll see in this thread btw so look up some reviews on a 6th gen v6 camaro. You can get one that's early gen 6 with a V8 if you really want and it'll be in your budget too if you're willing to accept not brand new.

If this were 2018 I would agree but we live in a very limited time frame right now where, with some negotiation, you could get a base 2017 RS for 30 or 31.
