Who are you quoting?

MGE me as demoman tonight

nice

These hapless geeks have had their heads bitten off and their hearts ripped out by a heartless head of capitalism. I'll pump some optimism into their once-yearning veins with a little update of my own: your veiny pumper may not have a pal but at least you have each other. And in the end isn't that the true mean of Trystmas?

...

wtf i hate valve now

...

why do do soldier mains press space so often

why do scout mains press space twice as often

...

>188658090
>Le epic friendly hoovy meme for waifu
>Fave weapon is bad box
l o l

pressing space as scout a lot is bad though
makes you very easy to hit and throws your own aim off
it's only good at close range against projectile classes and heavy

Is that the same Flip that posts here?

>tfw ur entire team gets devastated by a blatantly aimbotting scout who does nothing but jump around all over the place and land perfect meatshots
>tfw ur the only person who realizes he's hacking

Who are you quoting?

How do you treat your medics /tf2g/?

like shit

the black box stopped being good 2 years ago, its not worth the 3 rockets anymore

explosive jump away
i dont need some mentally ill ""guy"" leeching points from my epic frags and expect protection because ""he"" is a dumb fuck who cant dodge 2 slow-ass rockets to save xerself

>people that buy cool looking mice with shit-tier sensors because they assumed if they look cool they perform well

>People who buy mice with more than 5 buttons

>people that buy mice without knowing what negative acceleration threshold is

Are there any actually good mouse guides that have been updated past 2014? I'm tired of seeing ones with the same old Logitech/Razer mice that are only on there because they're expensive.

>needing guides for mice

Just get a Zowie, it's expensive but actually made for video games and not covered in glowing crap.

these are my favorite two

teamfortress.tv/31299/warhuryeah-peripheral-reviews
rocket jump ninja reviews are better than War's tbqh

Am I the only one here who doesn't care that much about mice? I use a $30 mouse I got on sale for $10 and I frag just fine with it

best budget gaming mouses
>SS Rival 100 (~20€, medium size)
>Logitech G102 (~30€, small size)
>SS Rival 300 (~30€, large size)
there are some chink companies that put great sensors in generic cases but i dont know much about those

A good mouse with a decent sensor should never be underrated, my friend. Gaming mice are a bit of a meme, though.

I got my mouse for about 30 canuckbucks and it's worked out pretty well for me

MOST to LEAST skill floor/ceiling classes?

the only application you actually need a decent sensor for is gaming though
what else should they market their mice as? pro ms word clickers?

>Most skill:
>Class I main
>Honorable mention:
>Other classes I play
>Literally no skill required:
>Classes u play

Skill floor:
Heavy
Pyro
Engineer
Soldier
Medic
Spy
Sniper
Scout
Demo

Skill ceiling:
Pyro
Heavy
Spy
Engineer
Soldier
Medic
Scout
Demo
Sniper

From least to most.

>Most skill:
>my favorite 4 classes and sniper
>Least skill:
>Heavy and engineer

How are sniper, scout or demo easier to begin with than spy? Tons of spies don't even know about cloaking or disguising

There's a difference between minimum skill and flat out not knowing what the class even does because you're illiterate.

...

...

Okay how is sniper anywhere above the bottom of skill? Literally just zoom and click.

>pornfu
faggot

okay, but loadouts?

>lmao just point and click ahahaha how does any class in this game take skill lmao man just click on people ahahahaha

There's almost no positioning or thinking behind playing sniper. Literally just stay around where you can easily see enemies come and shoot. Sniping is almost too easy in TF2 and I constantly top scoreboards with it.

t. I only play Valve pubs

t. never played any form of competitive
comp mm doesnt count in case it isnt obvious to you

being on top of the scoreboard in valve pubs is about as much of an achievement as breathing through your nose

But this statement is right. Sniper doesn't have any particular skills, he can't move fast or jump high, he's one of the most basic classes out there.

Which is why he's strong.

lmao

more buttons to press doesn't make a class more difficult
do you also play overwatch lmao

Update has been moved to Halloween

yeah, halloween next year

halloween has been moved to christmas

Well you're not trying to tell me how I'm wrong, so I can only assume that you're trolling.

>Everyone who disagrees with me is trolling
Absolute classic. Just because movement is a large part of the game doesn't mean the pure aim class doesn't take skill.

update has been cancelled, valve closing their servers in october

Are you mentally challenged?

it takes a very small amount of time to remember which button does what
clicking heads is not a very difficult concept to understand but mastering it takes thousands of hours despite it's simplicity

>beggars
ah a man of culture

>three spies
>none of them even attempt to attack the unusual-wearing sniper dominating half the team
>they sit at the bottom of the scoreboard

How do I know if my mouse has a shit sensor? Don't want to spend money on a new mouse, if the one that I have is fine.

>check steam while doing other stuff
>one new invite
oh boy i wonder how this will go

>tfw handlet

I used to try using MouseTester.exe on every new mouse I found but I could never get the damned thing to work well, and I didn't know how to interpret the graphs, so I wound up googling like a madman to figure out which mice had decent sensors

unfortunately a lot of the information on the internet is just hearsay because most people don't know how to test mice either, so you have to pick good sources

there are a few people on overclock.net that actually know what they're talking about so I lurk there

Why are cp_orange maps so popular?

>when some dude is cheating but fucking throws because he wants to talk about what he majors in
epic

>overclock.net
Thank you for this. I've found some pretty in depth reviews and good information.

>this is considered good

>militarized fart music
>basic frags
>girlfriend healing him

no

>See community server with 20 people playing
>Join up
>Only 7 people(including me) actually on teams, everyone else is in spectate
Neat.

>militarized fart music

G102 is for you then
>tfw huge hands with long fingers
>WMO is perfect shape
>even for me the Rival 300 is a bit too large

>militarized fart music

Have a (You)

I have a SS Rival 300 and I fucking love the thing. It's snappy, feels good in the hand, has decent software, is affordable, and has stood up to a year of osu and Dota. Both games are brutal on mouse buttons, and my Rival is still working perfectly

Playing sniper like a pubkid is encouraged, all of the awful pub snipers who get shit on by pub spies have a map where they don't have to think, just sniper duel.

Massive skyboxes and fuckhuge sightlines. What's really upsetting is that there's a finished, artstyle cp_orange all good to go and nobody knows that it exists

>Say we don't need an engineer holding last because both teams have like 4 fucking players
>Get pushed back to our last because we are essentially down a man
>SEE SEE LOOK I WAS RIGHT WE NEEDED AN ENGINEER ON LAST I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT
>Kick their shit in
>Roll them all the way back to thier last despite STILL being down a man
>He ends the game with 3 points and never ever moves up
Simply epic. The entire time he insisted he knew what he was doing because a) he had a mic, and b) he had apparently done this before.

>spamming meet the medic taunt in 2fort waters
>pyro tries to kill me
>get a random ubersaw crit
>run into sewer in hopes in will be safer
>another pyro is there
>get another random ubersaw crit
why were random crits added again

I honestly have no clue. Apparently they were intended to break stalemates, but we all can clearly see how that worked out. No clue why they've been in the game this long, they serve absolutely no purpose.

To replace the Quad Damage pick-up

...

>2fort
>see a friendly party in the other teams sewers in the spectator cam while dead
>suddenly get an idea
>go heavy and head for sewers
>another heavy is there, revs up but leaves me alone when i crouch
>get to sewer
>crouchwalking with GRU
>pull out tomislav
>kill all 5 reds there and shred alert after
>immediately they start crying "KICK HIM"
>seconds later a votekick starts
>it passes
friendlies were a mistake

Honestly, I'd say heavy has the highest skill floor while demo has the lowest. Any retard can spam pills and stickies to get a few kills but I've NEVER seen a new player get kills as heavy because he can get sniped or spammed out so easily. Meanwhile, it's the complete opposite for skill ceiling. The demo has a lot more to learn and get good at than the heavy.

REST IN PIECE FLAN

not an argument

>Two of the worst states about to be wiped off the map
Nothing of value will be lost. Here's to hoping they get South Carolina too.

>see a deadcicle spy on my team
>generic loadout and stranges in the thousands
>call a votekick on him
>it passes

Dropping what I know. Don't blame the current team, their hands are tied for reasons I can't explain.

>competitive mode revamp, maps are going to be mostly limited to CP and require a (higher) EXP minimum to queue
>current badge system in competitive and casual is being retired into a singular display icon that you can hover over
>item guys have been working on badges you can wear based on what your casual/competitive rank was prior to it being retired
>each player has an in-game TF2 profile tied to their Steam account, displays stuff like ranks, amount of games played, personal stats, hats owned, most played class, etc.
>crates now contain stuff for these profiles like background skins, in-game scoreboard icons, unique animations your profile character will do, etc.
>yet another UI update
>contracts by Ms. Pauling are becoming a permanent edition and rotate over the course of a year (since these are the most easy way to keep the game "updated")
>higher ups are really pissed off cheating is so rampant, expect another ban wave, lawsuits, phone verification, etc.
>they picked most of the new hats and are just waiting for a few submissions from guys they specifically asked; estimated final count is 119 cosmetics, including weapon skins and new unusual effects
>serious consideration being put into making crate keys non-tradable (but can be sold on the steam market)
>halloween hats are very likely going to lose their restrictions, can be unboxed as unusual
>despite it not being the "heavy update" he currently has the most balance adjustments, soldier has the fewest by far
>current is the pyro update and halloween update being the same thing with a sort of horror theme, but it's tentative
>balance team has been struggling to keep the game feeling the same while making drastic changes, especially to pyro
>what they've accomplished so far is making particle effects reflect primary fire, so when you sway and hold M1 it acts like a gust you can aim, predict and avoid

>Basing it purely on EXP
>Basing it on EXP that is shared with casual
wew

Adding that I know this almost entirely from hovering around the TF2 team's area. They keep stuff under wraps very effectively for a dead game but I've been expressing personal interest in working with them so they let me hang around.

if you have no idea what sensor it is and cant find info on it, its probably shit / generic chink garbage

>serious consideration being put into making crate keys non-tradable (but can be sold on the steam market)
