On the topic of special saver, there any real reason to use it instead of charge up? Seems like it rewards the player for dying instead of inking more area.

It's a serious issue. It shouldn't be impossible to re-engineer the friend list menu to allow the game to persist in the background, but Nintendo will have to recognize it's a big problem first.

i applied two layers to the left stick and a thin layer to the right stick
i dont feel like im grinding my stick, but i do notice quite a bit of whitish dust after playing
just gave the left stick a test spin and actually felt that i'd managed to a spot on the stick, so i think it should work alright as a buffer (however temporary it may be)
