So I just went through the King Game's part in SubaHibi, and I realized the CG in the shower should have had them naked, but they were wearing a swimsuit (even though I have the 18+ patch applied). I also searched for the CGs of that scene to make sure, and I saw the shower scene also has a CG where Tsukasa enters, which didn't appear either. The King's Game scene did have them naked though, does someone know what happened?
Also, according to the installation notes of the patch, "After a successful patch installation the subtitle will change to the German one (Diskontinuierliches Dasein).", which didn't happen in my case, so it might be safe to assume the patch didn't install correctly, which is weird if the naked CGs during the King Game's scene still appeared.

Subahibi spoilers:
I'm all for leaving some things up to the viewer's interpretation/imagination but implying that Lovecraftian shenanigans are afoot and then proceeding not to explain anything else seems pretty lazy to me. It's like they mentioned it just enough so that it would be a valid excuse for all of the stuff that doesn't make sense. Anyone else disappointed with End Sky II and this aspect of the VN in general? It's just such a blemish on the whole experience for me. Unlike most VNs I felt like it was getting less and less complicated as I read, with the stuff about Tomosane being a lot more investing than anything near the beginning.
I like the beginning too but I feel like it uses a lot of cheap shit to be effective. Even Invention, which is the peak of the first half of the game and probably my favorite part aside from Jabberwocky II only gets good near the end because of the sudden shift the narrative takes. I felt like the game was gonna finish really strong, and it did, but End Sky II felt really deflating to me, like it's just there in case the reader didn't think of any deep shit while they were reading. It's fine if they wanna talk about the whole 'one soul' thing but why not work that into the story instead of just tossing it in at the last possible second in a brainstorming session with Ayana?
