Why not just buy some shitty used bike from a dealership or off of Craigslist and learn on that?

your kind post here >>/18869302

Scoots are always welcome on /dbt/.

Why care, I've dropped my faired bike a couple times and it was fine.

Fairings are great, it's only insecure poorfags who harp on about how you have to get a naked bike as a new rider because they're too afraid to scratch it.

CT110 is the only acceptable moped.

>this is what newfags actually believe

>tfw no cb750f

I really like it though. Besides, I fall and hurt myself enough on this thing, I would probably kill myself in anything more extreme.

First for Indian best murican company.

Not like the competition is tough

Post bike.

First for actually posting my bike

Attached: IMG_20180326_081258_01-1401x1051.jpg (1401x1051, 571K)

the used market is shit near me.
It either doesnt run, is $5k+, or a 1300cc cruiser
I could probably find SOMETHING but id rather be patient and wait a couple more months til something falls into my lap.

I just like the look and practicality of a naked as a fun street bike.

I don't see how a faired bike magically becomes "impractical" as a fun street bike desu, if anything they become more practical because of the added wind protection.

Nothing wrong with liking naked bikes though, to each their own.

cbr300r, Ninja 250r or gsx250r?

Posting too.

I hear the carb version is better then the fi since it has less engine brake and better throttle input.

Post your areas Craigslist.

Ninja 250R = CBR300 > powergap > GSX250R

Attached: EX250 THE BEAST rev 2.jpg (1632x1224, 170K)

>gsx250r
for sure

But they are.

Attached: fa78be8a.jpg (1190x1024, 300K)

Whatever one you like better.

Not saying faired bikes are impractical, but i like the more upright seating position most nakeds offer.

Mobile, Alabama
thanks for the help

I mean they are pretty cheap to buy brand new, means I dont have to get a second hand bike

yeah, but it, ninja 250 dosent even have efi.

carb or die

Carbs are better minus the maintenance

>being this poor

ayy lmao!

>not knowing how to care for carbs
lamo'ing at your life

I would ride the shit out of that.
Unironically looks more military than the diesel bike that was posted in the last thread.

>actually know but there still shit

>being this lazy
Your kind doesn't belong here.

>less efficient, less precise fuelling that either wastes gas or burns to lean, never just right across the entire rev range
>driving across town for ethanol free gas at an extra dollar a gallon because muh gaskets
>BUT MUH THROTTLE RESPONSE t. only ever rode cheap shitty efi on $8000 nip nakeds

Mine does have a fair bit of engine braking, enough that I usually only use the brake to pull up if I'm just riding gently.

Nice bike user. Plans for the next one?

>not knowing that modern fuel uses ethanol stabilizers
So pathetic.

>Implying you want tear down a sport bike just to remove the carbs, clean/sync all 4 and assemble it again and pray it starts at the first try.

there only good on small cuck bikes and dirt bikes. What bike do you ride user?

Thanks!

I've been looking at the Z650, although I'm still not too sure at this point.

>>driving across town for ethanol free gas at an extra dollar a gallon because muh gaskets
>He has to search for ethanol free fuel
Thank god all servos here carry ethanol free fuel with the option of E10

My mate has a Z650. It's a good bike, but that P twin vibrates a lot.

Carbs aren't an issue if the bike is ridden regularly.

Literally never done anything to mine in four years other than turn the idle up.

>Baribari Legend
Such a shame that this never took off like Initial D did.
At least we got Bakuon!!, but I would have preferred it had it taken itself more seriously rather than just being your typical cute girls doing cute things anime.

That depends, are you black enough to buy a Suzuki for no reason

>that feel when pointing out a CBR300R's combination of more torque in a heavily used rev range and shorter gearing means it will outpull an R3 in certain common real world situations is now meaningless

Attached: ninja-400-rc390-dyno-hp.jpg (1000x563, 48K)

This.

I haven't touched mine since I bought it 5 years ago and I'm assuming the previous owner didn't work on them either.

Is there anything suspect about buying a demonstration model from the dealer ?

Nope. They're typically good deals if you're buying "new"

WHERE AND WHEN IS SEM!?!?!?

oh suh dude.

The Ninja 400 actually looks like an enjoyable beginners bike though.

anyone ride while high

liechtenstein, mid june

>not getting high off riding

the ninja 250 has one of the easiest carbs to manage, you'd have to be retarded if you couldn't get it to start on the first or second try. It's foolproof.

>carb defence force
I didn't realize dbt was so destitute

I've never even had a cigarette

dont do it, ive done it several times and its not worth it.

oh god can you imagine if this kid shows up to germany wanting to meet with a bunch of people and realizing he got trolled? That's mean.

Have you had a beer?
Or you still sucking mommas tit?

im sucking daddys dick

Yes.

A cigarette is a substitute for your mother's nippple.

A couple lol

>a cigarette is liquid goodness

well that would be extra funny since liechtenstein isn't in germany

It isn't on the southern border of Germany?

think it's sandwiched between switzerland and austria

Going poo if anyone was curious

390?

Lulz

...

Vulcan 900, bolt, shadow 750, or boulevard c50?

Vulcan or shadow. Blvd is garbage

>ural

Shadow is always the answer

tfw new bike

Attached: imagejpeg_1~01.jpg (790x768, 251K)

Vulcan. Bolt is uncomfortable and the digital speedo is both problematic and unsightly, otherwise I'd say yamaha by default.

No mirrors?

I would if they weren't $20,000

just watched qatar
lol @ zarco

>what is used
I paid $6,000 for mine, and I probably overpaid by $500.

I see 2010s now going for that much, or less

The guy used it off road mostly.

Are any motovloggers on dbt much?

God I hope not

Theres 1 in texas for $8900. Probably a couple more around the bend for similar prices. Dealership near me regularly has them, but they have $1500 premiums for being a dealership.
