It isn't just about song licensing, it's just how the companies choose to do things. There's no reason for Bamco to localize im@s, it's been that way for many years and will probably remain the same for a while. Bushiroad has found success in EN releases before, so it isn't that odd that they would do the same with gbp. Frankly besides the stories, the "rhythm game" aspect is pretty mediocre, I say this as someone who's played since launch date.
