Typically you want to tailor to the ability cards you have. If you have a certain Job that takes advantage of them - it's probably the better route.

My 2 chaining Ashe and soleil with your Rem killed it on the third turn, was surprised to see him go from 66% to 0%, I was checking different timings but hitting all three at once worked best
Also I found out that if I use my 100% 2 turn provoke on EV I only need him to wear grand helm and I'll be immune to all status except the poison, since the confuse/sleep is single target and I won't need a Marie/tilith to do status ailment resist skills. And EV has a 100% party break resist skill too. I bought Ace for mp battery since EV's provoke takes 25% of his mp but the battle was over too fast I could probably drop him for the 5 person party mission
