Try disabling any mods you have on? Verify integrity of game files in Steam, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date, etc.

If worse comes to worse, just delete all the local files and reinstall.

No. It's best to really pick and choose what to upgrade.

Don't use X hero class that often? Skimp out on upgrading their specific equipment. Your specialist doesn't really attack that much? He can survive with a tier lower tech than the rest of the squad. Etc.

I witnessed just how annoying priests can fucking be. Why is it that things in this game become way more dangerous when they decide to shoot their fucking gun? THIS IS WHY I RUN MIND SHIELDS ON EVERYONE. Just in case mind control shenangans happens. It also stops daze apparently.

The priest stasis shit is unreal though. Hate it. At one point in this fight, there were 3-4 priests up just fucking my day. So glad I brought the spark along. Sparks are very handy now. Although, I am bugged that enemies can use them as cover if you take that one talent. Thats horse shit.

The cover effect even decreases the sparks aim if it targets a enemy taking cover on it..

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but how about a big fuck you to early-game "Recover Resistance Operative" missions. 4 turns of constant reinforcements after already killing 2 pods does not bode well for my Corporals and Squaddies.

Who is the motherfucker who keeps making things susceptible to Bluescreen? He can't keep getting away with it.

They're pretty easy IMHO. Even with only 5 lowbies, overwatch can thin the herd a lot when they just drop in. They're not even really touch enemies, either. Just setup on high ground before you send a guy to activate the resistance operative and you're golden.

Don't underestimate priests. Their sustain bullshit can really fuck you, plus mind control becomes an issue when you've acquired so many good items that you really have no place for a flashbang. Like, having a flashbang is justifiable when you're swapping out a normal grenade for emergencies, but when you can to really pick and choose between shit like talon rounds and mimic beacons, it becomes harder to justify.
