wages increase the expenses of your factories and give an equal wage bonus to your craftsmen. i am not sure if the wage is proportional to the profits of the factory.
pensions are a "bonus" wage you can give to your population by the "social spending" slider. i am not sure if it prioritizes poor people, but it would be nice if it did.

Minimum wage obviously isn't proportional to the income of the factory. It sets a new wage floor. Pensions are given to everyone equally, since every POP is assumed to have old people in addition to the family.
