Rean generally only loses it when there's some emotional weight on top of him, particularly if someone he cares about is in danger. We've never seen him just lost it without someone being on the ground or in danger. This seems very out of place.

I can't beat the Azure Knight. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm hitting his critical spots with every attack, then following it up with rush and a normal link attack otherwise. I use the defensive dodge-and-guard-and-counter ability that costs 90 CP (as the game threw me the hint to use if after defeat number 21989).

Still, the closest I've ever gotten to this faggot is 3/4th of his health gone before he finishes me off. And he starts spamming meme-moves around that time too which do like 1/3rd of my total health and it's not like I can keep the guard-craft up 100% of the time either.

Is this fight just luck? Does Rean's Knight scale of his stats or something, and I'm just criminally underleveled? I might be making shit up in my head at this point but Crow becomes the Lord of the Dance at around 25% remaining HP and I just can't seem to him his critical spots at all anymore.

While my guard-craft can't seem to dodge shit... Is there a technique to this fight?

I have never asked for help on a single enemy or boss in this game and it shames my family that I have to do so now, but I just can't fucking beat this clown.

What level are you? If you're below 70 on nightmare, it's going to be really annoying to beat.

This is why I always tell people to grind until level 68 before the final boss.

If you aren't Level 68 or higher by the end of Nightmare you probably don't have enough raw stats. Anyway as long as you have double STR buff when you do Valimar's burst and don't get unlucky with Crow's links you should barely be able to scrape by. Only time you should use your guard craft is when Crow starts charging up for Criminal Edge

Literally get good.
First, never EVER use any crafts other than Qinggong. The dodge craft is worthless because it cost so much and yet pays so little.
Second, do NOT use your Rush attack. Save it for when he starts using his bullshit Defensive Stance.

The key to the fight is to end it as quick as possible, not draw it out longer by using the dodge craft. That's why you use Qinggong.

I think the Azure Knight also has perfect guard in one of its stance. Don't do anything because you'll be fucked really hard.

He solo'd Crow after clowning a handful Ouroboros members. This is the Crow that BTFO'd him, Laura and Fie without breaking a sweat a couple months earlier. That's his biggest feat of strength in the entire series.

Literally bullshit. If you buff up to 50% on stats, and get enough CP to use while the buff remain active, you'll get a lot of damage in, if you can manage to pair it up with a super attack, even better.

The Church is the only institution as powerful as Ouroboros, if not more. The Grandmaster and the Pope seem to communicate directly with one another since they have a deal where Ouroboros won't send Enforcers and the church won't send their knights to Crossbell. Also Cornelia can take on Arianrhod one on one.

It's worthless because it relies so much on luck. It's not 100% guaranteed that you'll get a counter, and it cost a whopping 90 CP.
Qinggong meanwhile is just 45 CP, and using it twice will boost your stats a lot.
It helps to end the battle quicker. As for why ending the battle quickly is essential, it's because you can only heal twice. And there's only so many CP you can get by tanking Crow's attacks.

Oh definitely. I beat the final boss at level 66 but it took so many goddamn retries.

If you didn't waste your shining pom bait that you get for free, you should level up to 66 with monsters, and then use shining poms to level further.

Took me 6 or 7 tries to beat him on 65 on nightmare. Stack buffs and get lucky to avoid his link attacks.
