Every wave 1 invasion card has had voice lines referencing the next one. Invasion Tama has lines for Karin, so it's pretty guaranteed.

Tama's shinka voiceline mentions Karin.
Plus she was the one who defeated Capricorn in the anime, so it's pretty much confirmed.

Why does everyone always call it a content drought when we get done with an event and will have another one fairly soon? Going into one event immediately into the next sounds dumb.

How does it work in other mobages?

There isn't really much to do once you clear the event. Other than grinding event SRs that aren't really that good.

I guess but drought just sounds a bit dire to me like we haven't had anything new in months.

I'd take content drought for a day or two than being KMR's slave.
But I agree, the event should have some bonus stage with high difficulty even with mediocre reward. At least it gave you some time to clear that one.

So, I just remembered that, because I was naive and optimistic about the YuYuYu english dub, I actually bought the first 2/3 volumes for the localization special edition way back. Did the little booklets included with those that have things like, translated interviews with the staff of the anime and character notes ever get scanned? If not, I could take some pictures of it

The localization of YuYuYu was a fucking trainwreck. Even Yuna's voice actress felt confused as to what her name was, because they kept changing the order all the time.

I really regretted buying them when I found out that the number of Western release sales made no difference to how much profit went to the Japanese studio. I'm going to buy the Japanese S1 re-release boxset and buy the Japanese S2 BDs this time to vote with my wallet.

But everyone called her Yuuna in the original. I don't remeber anyone calling her Yuuki outside of yyyi. I was like "who the fuck is yuuki"

It's been a while since I watched the dub, but if I'm not mistaken, I think even Fuu said Yuuki a few times instead of Yuuna.

Any chance of a WaSuYu dub? How bad will it be if the same people do it? They're the same people who removed all honorifics, but kept "Shinju-sama" for some reason. That shit sounds so awkward in English.

Using the same pair twice never gave any extra yuri points. Your point gain is only increased if one (x2) or both (x4) partners of the pair are at max level.

According to a Q&A the voice actors did on youtube, things were kinda messy behind the scenes. They didn't even get Togo's song and had to remake it themselves, if I recall right.

Wasn't this also the first localization/dub by this group? It'd sure explain a lot of the issues.

Well I guess at least, if we were to get a dub for S2, the Hero Club VAs got a lot more experience since then.

Holy shit I just went on a rampage a couple of minutes ago and started to 3* all the boss stages except for the very last one. I couldn't 3* those stages for the life of me the whole event.

I still find it hilarious how the English dub will be part of the bonuses for the new S1 BDs coming out, a lot of Japanese people seem to be looking forward to it since it's one of the few YuYuYu-related things they haven't seen yet.

They're gonna be so disappointed. Yuna's voice is just terrible during high energy scenes. I say this as someone who generally prefers English Dubs and is an actor themselves. Her first transformation scene made me want to smash my head into my desk when compared to the JP version.

Will the Japanese version have an English sub option? That'd really be something unusual.

All this localization/dub talk is making me curious. If YuYuYui got localized, would you guys play it? Would you drop the Japanese version?

Honestly? Probably not. This fandom is absurdly good at getting translations out in a speedy manner most of the time, rendering a text only translation mostly moot. Even when having to work around a Japanese timezone, it's not too hard for me to make at least one of the invasion times each time they come for the day.

Now, if it got a full dub and they actually got a good cast, then maybe. Wouldn't drop the Japanese version, though. I'm over 300 dollars deep into this account.

Whew. Waitress Gin, despite being unmerged, has stats pretty close to her +1 original self. There's the C+ crit over B-, but there's not that big of a gap between those two ranks. Leader skill on original Gin blows waitress out of the water, though.

Say what you will about the PonycanUS release, them being willing to actually translate all these interviews was honestly pretty cool. Still doesn't quite justify the price, but it was great to read through them all, so I don't really regret getting the sets.
