But the overall power cards to put in are:

Obviously you want a good ratio of sigils and early answers. So Old Levi and Dwarf are key.

I wouldn't recommend illusionist for a more controlish brick rune deck desu. It just eats your sigils that are best saved for turn 6. If you don't have a sigil for turn 6, might as well concede.

it has the real cost of taking up a board space but in exchange it will essentially double your shadow output each turn
just think about that, 10 necromancy tyrants, 3 necromancy corpselords (technically two actually when the corpselord dies), warded death's breath will actually gain you a shadow now

It's literally Dorothy 2.0, as in when you try playing her this happens maybe once every 20 games, but when you play against it, it happens every game.
It's inconsistent and bricks way to easily.
I, for example, never even draw a single Lion, Alice or Eagle in the entire fucking match a lot of the time, just like I never drew Dorothy and just get removed.

I played Best Alice a lot lately and it's a real challenge to survive until you put ToS on turn 8 because your deck consists of 2 phases and you could brick with neutrals in early game.
