I guess the baseline could be the average pleb level of both games. MMR average in Dota is 2-2.5k last I remember. League is Silver division? But yeah, it's not really easy to just label comparative ranks between the two.

from what i heard about league system you're mostly right but there is no system that helps promoting high mmr players directly to pro teams like challenger does, some could be noticed for their pub star performance but it's gambling, playing inhouse leagues and knowing right people get you better chance; and vice versa, there was a guy last TI who had 5.8k mmr, his team got to top-8

If you want COMMENDS you gotta play COMMENDABLE HEROES.
