the little meter went to the knight style

>knight= dont attack non-combatants (yellow)
>merc=kill literaly everything
>soldier=ballenced kills, both hostile and non-hostile tatgets and buildings. Leaving some yellow targets destorying others

The aces you meet in one are different then another, execept for story aces seen in every ace style. Also, beating all the aces unlocks the gauntlet, tons of fun there.

The missions also feature slightly different dialogues depending on your ace style.
Completing the game with an ace style unlocks the related paint scheme for the planes.
Finishing the game multiple times with all the ace styles also unlocks an aircraft (ADFX-01 Morgan).
Finishing the game multiple times with all the supreme ace styles (style gauge completely centered, to the left or the right) unlocks another plane (ADF-01 FALKEN).

Tbh the changes are really *slight*, if you don't pay attention to the dialogues you might miss them, especially since you're gonna hear them on the following playthroughs and some time will have passed.
The biggest bullshit out of it is that the final mission doesn't feature different dialogues.
And now after talking about Zero I want to play it again and I might as well do it.

Oh I forgot! There are numerous Aces to shoot down, and some are style (and difficulty) dependant. You can check them in the Assault Records after shooting them down.

I was surprised to learn that there also happened to be SU-34s featured in the Rebuilds, albeit in CGI.
