Are Darius and Romulus worth ascending if I don't have any higher-starred characters in their classes? I'm reluctant to spend quartz on summons at the moment, since the NA version doesn't appear to have the Servants that I really want yet.

The content is going to be easy enough so you can use him without issue until Camelot. If you really like him, you can always throw 2-4 Grails on him to even out his stats a bit. There is a guy in /fgog/ who's been using max grailed Darius and clearing Challenge Quests with him even.
