yeah, you can go back and do old content. if anything it will be quicker and easier since you can solo all the old dungeons and raids, plus getting faction rep lot easier when you can blow through the dailies or whatever is required

you can also quest and do pvp for exp

If you have a lot of free time and that's what you really care about in the game then WoW is amazing for collecting vanity stuff, even if you only have one character. Even the new content has a lot of mounts to collect.

DH is much faster but warrior gives you access to pretty much every weapon mog that drops. If you're going for mounts i'd say DH.

Mage tower should have scaled you to 900ilvl desu. Meaningless if you can just outgear it, but if you have to use power that was intended, it wouldn't be.

Crucible is account wide unlock. Did it on one char, got it on 2 others that were doing stuff on Argus. As soon as I got another one at Vindicaar the Crucible was unlocked for him as well, without even setting foot on Argus.
