I can't even tell the difference between SFV and Tekken netcode. They are both unplayable at around 3 bars but same as practice mode at 4-5.

It's almost like people here shitting on dbzf for delay netcode have never played any fighting games except recent capcom trash. Playing Xrd with people from my country is consistent 1 or 2 frame delay, from nearby countries 3 or 4. There's almost no difference from offline in the first case and even when it's 3 or 4, it still takes 1-2 games to adjust and not have any problems as long as delay is a consistent number. Jp players playing offline on consoles usually put delay to 2-3 themselves because that's how it is in arcades.

It's almost like there's not a small number of players there who bought the game before street date. Wait for servers to fill up and it'll turn into a shitshow that's pretty much expected from any capcom fg.

What kind of netcode implementation game uses is something that only the most tiny, minor, insignificant amount of potential buyer-pool cares for.

Just like almost any serious player I switched to pc once Rev2 got released there and the input delay there is almost non-existent. Basically playing on pc 2f netplay feels smoother than ps4 offline. Dbzf is scheduled to release on pc too and as long as arcsys are the ones who handling the netcode I have zero fears. Not to mention it will be a lot less strict to your inputs than Xrd anyway.

I don't see any reason for bamco to be involved with netcode because modern fgs are being developed with netplay in mind and arcsys are the ones handling the gameplay.

I actually stopped coming to this general a long time ago and now only visit it once something big happens in fgc and everytime I comeback here this place seems more and more retarded.
We had modern capcom players shitting on every other fg for years especially on anime and niw those same people are liking mvci and shilling for it. Why? Because it's capcom. It doesn't matter that the game for the most part is dumbed down umvc3 with reused assets and embarassingly bad graphics. Of course gameplay is the most important thing and it's great if mvci is good in that regard but even still I can't look at all this shilling without laughing.
