first for does living armor work with necromancy? what about the undead poison healing?

Thoughts on party composition, worried it might be a bit too magic heavy

>ranger (me)
>cleric
>enchanter
>battlemage

What to take with Summoninng?

fourth for bipolar crazy waifus

What difficulty should I go for? I'm not a casual but I heard this shit gets hard.

I've been enjoying physical rushdown in DOS2 way more than 1. Mostly because the armor system works in my favor as well.

How should I round out this party I'm planning?

OC: Marksman/Poly
Red Prince: Geo/Pyro
Fane: Warfare/Necro

Is marksman/poly any good? Will I need some points in scoundrel as well? Will Geo from Red Prince plus Necro from Fane be sufficient to keep Fane alive as a tank?

What should I do for the fourth member? I'm lacking a second melee, but I'm also lacking hydro and aero. Maybe a scoundrel/aero or a 2h/hydro?

Undead Dwarf with Necro and Scoundrel
Fane with Summoner and Pyro
Ifan with Huntsman and Geo

For my last party member, should I go Red Prince with warfare and poly or Beast with Warfare and Aero?

first for worm tremors

Which companions are okay with going evil? So far I can't tell, they all seem to be somewhat okay with my actions but I don't want to beef someone up only for them to leave me later.

when the fuck do i get to respec

...

Tactician of course.

is there mod to respec yet

so dumb how companions auto level up and auto select stuff when you first find them and its impossible to meet all of them at level 1

When you teach me how to not pull the skin.

not in the mood for cheese?

How come food makes you lose health as a skelly but Garlic actually does heal you?

Because garlic is food kino

>Best waifu gets turned into meat paste 3 minutes into the story.

RIP.

Instant permaban for using that word when?

I played and enjoyed DivOS.
Didn't complete EE
What should I expect coming in DivOS2?

Re-asking here, what are the requirements to get alexander to switch to your side at the end of act 1?

So will saving Magister Silah or whatever her name is from the boat let me have a tsun-tsun waifu down the line?

A better game.

Any point in murdering master siwan on the boat in the beginning?

I think she dies no matter what you do.

How do you get more skele bros?

>tfw choose the wrong voice for my character
I have autism pls help

anyone wanna coop DOS2?

So does necromancy always suck or am I doing it wrong

what hybrid skills are that don't require much investment in the "main" stat of that skill line?

basically i want to dump all my stats into one and still go hybrid

>climb up the vines by fane to unnis's hidden camp
>try to pickpocket her
>detects me and goes into combat
>fighting her for a little bit
>all of a sudden the kid cowering behind the tent comes running out and says she'll protect her
>unnis tells her to run away
>kid says no, i can do it
>freeze up and sit there wondering if i am really playing a bad enough guy to kill this kid
>eventually unnis convinces her to run away and the kid takes off before i decide whether to cleave them both down or not
jesus i didn't expect this game would let me kill kids, let alone make them run into combat to protect their mom like that

i wonder if i will run into her in town later and if there will be any consequences for that

Does this game have randomized npcs?

I went to the healer on the beach and she gave me some items and taught me how to craft potions.

Then i reloaded a save and this time she asked me for booze for the dying man instead.

What is this?

Anything that scales off of Int (damage spells). You benefit from both their school's points and intelligence stat.

Should I pirate the Codex or GOG version?

Can you actually save the bitch at the very start on the ship as she's bleeding out?

How is this even a fucking question?

>can't decide what I want these fuckers to be

I really did not anticipate the whole "what do you want me to do" bit. Thinking of trying to make Fane my front line shield man that also fucks around with necromancy while I get back into the swing of things with my finesse spear dragoon lizard girl.

But who else should I take, I wonder.

>heals have 4 turn cooldowns

So am I supposed to just amass as many healing abilities as I can just to keep my 3 allies up and running?

No bully pls. I'm new to this.

The gm mode feels like it has a lot of monsters and items missing.

Can't decide on lizard barbarian or dwarf lady barbarian warfare specialist for first play through.

Which one sounds more fun?

why would i want to invest more than one point into warfare (+5% physical damage) when i can put that point into 2handed or dualwielding instead (+5% physical damage AND dodge/crit multiplier)????? do they cap out quickly or something?

Holding a shield lets you regen physical and magic shields every three turns. Almost every school of magic has a shield of some kind to throw on or a movement spell to get out and cooking random pieces of meat gives you a dinner which heals for 15% of your life for 1AP

GOG of course. It's the legit version without any shenanigans. Always go GOG if it's an option, whether pirating or purchasing.

Warfare has skills where as the weapon skills don't unless you count skills tied to weapons themselves

Thanks bro.

it's not an mmo, you don't need to constantly spam heals to keep people alive. healing spells are pretty powerful, plus items, plus spells that regen armor and magic shield, and cc and positioning to prevent incoming damage

Lizard has a more battlemage feel thanks to their firebreath

Wow are you literally me?
Normally play male MCs, but lack of female companions I care about made me decide otheriwse. Love the aesthetic design of lizards but also the armor design and those BOOBS on dwarves.

I was thinking of going metamorph barbarian.

i thought once you put 1 point into a skill school you gain the ability to permanently unlock any spells in that skill school

Does the GOG version work for multiplayer too? I plan on buying it, but want to try it out first with my friends before actually pay up.

Are you meant to give casters shields?

Where can i pirate it?

I dunno, you might need to use Galaxy to get online with the GOG version.

all of the armor makes you look like a fat tub of lard, what gives?

Oh did that change from the first game? I am not far enough yet to see if there are level 2 spellbooks

Play an elf female

reddit, SJWs and gdfobnmlke blumpof happened

What kind of build are you guys doing for your character?

So, is having Leech with a skelly a bad idea or does it work?

Tried to make an Age of Wonders salamander.

>Sword and board + fire
>Build for tankyness + all damage from fire magic.
>Largely ignore one hander damage value

Some portraits are really good, but some are JUST

No, I'm playing a lizard male because they're fun but all of the armor looks like fucking garbage, even on humans it looks bad. What the hell happened to the art direction?

What happens if you dont take a party member on fort joy because your team is full?

Can you switch them in and out later?

>source magic hyped up in early access builds
>Looks cool as fuck
>Game comes out
>Source magic is actual trash and you can only use it once before you habe to jump through stupid hoops to get source points back
This is the antithesis of fun. Also most of the source skills are trash, bless is trash the dome of protection is trash, the fucking soul wolf is trash, the red prince's spell should be a fucking basic ability because there's too much goddamn protection in this game.
They really screwed the pooch on this, original sin 1 was so much fun. How'd they manage to fuck it up so badly?

Open the chest y/n?

They die

if youre playing coop with friends, are you forced to pick premade characters or can you be skellington army?

That's what you get for being a good guy, /divg/

I tried to climb the vines right near the destroyed bridge when you first arrive at the island Fort Joy is on but I keep getting knocked down. How tf do I not fall

I'm still completing my playthrough of the first Div:O.

Is tac really that bad? I feel like it just takes a more balanced build in order to bring down armor.

Think about it this way, your party when they get the adequate armor will be able to resist CC from enemies just as strong.

Have you tried the internet?

can someone answer this? are you allowed to make custom characters in online coop

Yes.
Only if they started the campaign with you though I think.

In character creation lobby everyone has access to making custom characters. so yes everyone can be undead

Yes, but i suck at browsing, thats why im asking for assistance.

How's the game bros?

Official /divg/ theme:

What is a good companion for a Lone Wolf 2H Strength melee build?

Is there any way to have multiple summons that aren't totems?

Which do?

A hydro/pyro

I am starting a metamorph. Should I max STR or distribute it between some others?

Dorf.

Shit, that's a really cute lizard.

Tittymonster Dwarf.

What happens to party members you don't take? are they lost?

Also, need a good tank - Beast?

I wonder if there are any more cooler source skills lategame. I remember back during the kickstarted they listed that each race would have a few unique source skills, like the Lizards having dragon breath, dragon wings, and then a dragon transformation. Did any of that make it in?

Oooooh. You're supposed to sneak in and put people in position instead of just blundering into every encounter and hoping for the best

No wonder I've been burning scrolls on every encounter

Dorf it is.
Two handed or Sword and Board?

Which magic tree would cover the shortcomings of my 3 friends going melee? I'm going summoner main and was going to go pyro but it feels like putting fire everywhere isn't great for melee heavy. We also have tow undead
>rogue
>dual wield warfare
>two handed warfare with some hydro heals

Should i invest in summoning for my wizard main character?
Also, i took elemental affinity talent, does it work with summoning?

Invest in some poison to heal your skelly pals.

Didn't see anything like that in the Source skills section in GM mode so I doubt that made it in.

Stronger abilities now require more points in the skill.

Not a bad idea since oil wouldn't fuck them over as bad as fire. thanks

I'd like to try and make a Druid-esque character for roleplay purposes. Any opinions on my options?

If i pick undead as race and leech as talent, will i heal from standing in blood or take damage??
