Did they change the way special roaming LDs work? Whenever I wait for some time for Rex to appear, he doesn't but when I pick up a gift or interact with a SD he does appear afterwards.

It is probably more of a bug or something. It is needs a refreshment of the street levels. Going to the store and exiting for example does the same. Anything that makes something load.

new player here, only on stage 7 but i have a question
the stage mission button keeps saying there there's a new/unclaimed mission, but when i go into it there isn't a new or unclaimed mission in either the normal missions or special missions menu

People did it because it was a glitch. If it was just the normal price only the people already spending loads on the game would do it.
The trick is to release more "glitches" so people feel like cool rebels.

I'm nearly stage 38 and my deck is still a frankenstien bundle of garbage that just equips 1800 beaters then hopes they don't summon anything stronger than 2300. I can't even beat level 40 rex.
