ARMS has some faults.

I like it. Slow, but lots of neat secrets and the platforming and different forms are really neat.

I wish it had more content, but I don't take issue with the gameplay.

My only fault with the gameplay is that 1v2 is pretty un-balanced and that 1v1v1v1/1v1v1 mostly results in one player sitting in a corner like a dickhead.
Otherwise my gripes are in regards to content.

I mean, for fucks sake, most of the story content and lore is only available on the fucking Japanese Twitter account.

It's nice that they patched in custom controls (should've been a feature at launch though), but I still have multiple problems with the game and don't like it

-Defensive play isn't rewarded; the way the game is, pressing buttons is encouraged. Whenever I mention this, people don't understand what I mean. Basically if you have to block, you're in a bad position
-The mini-games are annoying/not fun

That's all I can remember atm. It's like Splatoon multiplayer in that if I lose, I'm frustrated at how poorly the game is balanced, and if I win, the win isn't satisfying -- I'm just relieved I didn't lose. The game is never fun.

I agree with all of those points with one minor caveat, I think the break the targets minigame is fun. Especially when trying to get new arms. I don't like the coin grind but I really do like the minigame.
