/divg/ - Divinity: Original Sin 2

I'd damn you to the gods but there are none.

Post your characters!

>Get combined skill book
>its status effect works even when enemies are at full shields

I cant decide what to play

>bull rush is a charge move that can go through and hit multiple enemies and has a cool down of 1 and does PURE damage that goes through all armour AND it does bleeding AND it only need 1 poly

holy shit

Where is lord brappus treasure?

Does attack of opportunity trigger if you're a ranger or caster when an enemy runs away from you assuming you have the talent?

I want to marry The Red Prince

>Summon Oily Blob
>Flaming Skin
>Phoenix Dive
>Attack with Oily Blob a couple of times
>Conjure Incarnate
>Oily Blob explodes and oil ignites
>Elemental Totem
It looked impressive, utilizes all the combat mechanics and it's pretty fun, but I'm pretty sure I'd do more damage just throwing fireballs twice a turn.

Planning a warfare polymorph dwarf female.

Should I go two-handed sword/sword and board for strength and full armor boob plate, or spears for finesse and big floppy tits 'angin about?

>Come across a cliff full of fire, with a crucified women literally flying over a pile of corpses
>Quicksave as she most definitely spells trouble
>Walk up to her, expecting her to either instantly turn hostile or get the option to try to help her
>She tells me she'll kill me
>Combat starts, game autosaves
>She literally kills my entire party with a single fireball
>Game crashes when I try to reload
>Reboot game
>Only save file I can load is the autosave where I have already entered combat
I guess that's the end for me. What a damn shame, this was one of the few times I was looking forward to play a game once it came out but so far this has mostly been a disappointment.

I'm at that part now. Outside Fort Joy near a camp you'll have to visit.
Guarded by a very rude skeltal wizard.

No need for any sort of healing anymore because of the dumb armour mechanics.

Yeah it's nice that I don't need a real support anymore but fuck it feels dumb as well

where do I use the key of the one from the driftwood arena?

How far are you? I started needing my hydro in act 2.

Why can't there be a keyring for all the keys to go in rather than taking up 847126 slots in your inventory?
Same for books and crafting shit.

Can't flee?

>4 bone widows

>lvl 6
>Only quests left to do are the Trompboy ghost that spawns too many guards to be able to deal with him, The voidwalker miniboss with skelletons, the Witch that keeps the dragon chained and the 3 undead mages in the tower.
>All of them are too powerful for my party to deal with
>No more enemies to kill and lvl up
>no more loot to be looted

How the fuck do I progress then

>throwing fireballs twice a turn
would be a shame if your spells had cooldowns wouldn't it

I'm in act 3 in tactician. There are just way too many ways to boost up your defences.

lol'd

Help, do I play custom character or origin for first playthrough?

And which origin a best?

I didn't think I needed to make it painfully obvious that's a 2-person combo.

>playing with three friends
>am red prince
>really like how Spinetail grovels before you
>see Sebille lined up to kill him
>shittalk her
>she tries to kill me
>my entire team shits fury down her throat before she has a chance to move

Why is Prince/Beast/Fane/Ifan the best party bros?

She goes first in combat

I agree, but if you find another backpack you can turn it into a key ring.

What setup?

At what level and with how many hours played did you finish Act 1?

Did you you think he did all of the other stuff alone on one character?

oh so i need to escape first?

w-where do you find the spell?

Because fuck bitches.

git gud

Teleport skills are so broken early on.
If you know how to use them you can trivialize a lot of unfair encounters.

>finish Act 1

uhh
been busy

What's the quickest way out without the cat dying? This shit is annoying. Had to restart after I found it dead next to the gate.

How do I teleport enemies?

Main scroundrel
Ifan summoner
red prince as tanking machine
and Fane as 2h dps

so a mostly physical party

Why did I get the villain tag for killing meat golems? Is there some note I missed that says they where innocent people and I could save them or something?

sure

Cast teleport.
Select target.
Select target area.

So should I save the purge wand for boss characters? I found one in Lord Brappus Vault.

Also what did you guys do with the necromancer things? SMash them all?

Imagine what Band of Brothers would've been like if half the cast were women.

I'm 11 hours in and still not finished. I rerolled a second character because I got stuck at hound master tho.

I still don't know how to escape

how do i challenge a party member at the arena?

Aaaa where is the guy red prince wants to meet in driftwood?

I have never had more difficulty creating a character than in this game

>wanto to talk to npc
>they walk out of the way at last second
>pick up thing that belongs to them instead
>last save was 20 minutes ago
I'm setting a fucking script to quicksave every 5 minutes. Fucking hell.

Its for multiplayer

so...how do you get rid of the curse on bracuss' helmet?

Have the full set equipped

Keep purging shit, 5 times iirc

I think my team is trash I may have fucked up synergy or something.

wayfarer
knight
rogue
summoner

no one really for heals unless i spec it on lohse or something.

I can't beat the hound guard guy fight without 1 person dying.

Wait if you face shift into an elf you can eat limbs and get the bonus?

Yes. You literally magically become that race until you cancel it/take off the mask.

You really do need heals.

fucking hell ive been throwing out all the limbs I get

Do you get to craft good gear later on? Getting a little tired of the murderhobo look of picking up whatever the fuck that last boss was wearing for some weird kind of clown outfit. I want to look like I did at chargen.

Is Flesh Sacrifice permanent?

Did you at least keep the leg of that lizard at the start to become friends with the torturer guy?

Care to help out a newfriend and answer a couple of questions?

Is making a 3x physical and 1x magic team a good idea? Or should I go 2/2 magic/physical?

Are Rangers good? I was thinking of making a Huntsman/Poly build. Good idea for classic?

Is the corpse eating thing elves have a good talent? I mean is there enough shit to eat so it matters?

What Tags are good - as in fun? Do they appear often enough and give some advantage from time to time?

Thanks.

What character do you want the cat summon on? Summoner, main character, or a different mage

Are there any viable spear builds?

>cant do any quests because get my ass kicked
>cant level up because i cant do quests
what do

yeah actually,

yeah i'm at -27 CON and Sebille became an Undead Elf.

where do you get this mask

so...I'm in driftwood and I only have 3 people, where can I get a fourth member for my party?

Wait what ?

>Find a skeleton that claims he'll sail me past some deathfog
>Sails straight into it instead which kills my entire party

is leech a shitty talent or am i not using properly? having to walk around to soak up blood for a paltry ass heal doesn't seem worthwhile

>playing coop with three other dudes
>they all run in different fucking directions all the time to loot and explore
>talk to important story NPCs without everyone being around
>fail all persuasion checks because *they* want to talk instead of the guy who actually specced into it
This is what you get for co-oping with MMORPG players rather than proper RPG/PnP fans.

has anyone tried poison coated daggers with fire damage on them?

Do you just like explode yourself every time you hit or what

right now using them with normal weapons I can burn an enemy's magic and normal armour off in one turn its pretty good

SPOOKED

How good/fun is shapeshifting?

git gud or reroll

Can I do both stabby-stab daggers and a wand at the same time? My character just uses the wand regardless of range

4x magical or physical is the popular meme atm, but imo it doesn't matter that much on Classic

Rangers are crazy if you can get them some altitude, just fine otherwise, Poly's a decent secondary.

Eating corpses can also give valuable info and free skills

All the tags show up all the time, pick whatever you want.

>Become friends with the tortuer guy

Excuse me? I fed that leg to Elf party member. I could have saved it and avoided his fight?

What stat for hydro/summon support ?

People like that just ruin the reputation of the rest of the well-behaved skeleton community.

So is there a way to get henchmen who arent a race that you dont want? im getting dwarves and undead lizards and shit. Just want a human male senpai.

Also is respec on the ship as well? i found the mirror for appearance so far,

3-1 can kill faster but probably die, 2-2 is slower but loadsa utility, polyhunter is probably cool, flesh eating is nerfed because you need the skill prereqs now, scholar basically works like a social loremaster, you know all the things. but it doesn't really matter.

doesn't matter, just make sure you have damage/cc/heals
yes rangers can do crazy damage
no idea
no idea

>AI can perfectly put its back against the wall and turn around to face me
>My character runs around like a retard anytime I get him to face an enemy

This game is so hilariously broken

It's not just appearance brosef

Yeah. You trade it for the faceripper if you have Fane in the party.

Shit i forgot to go after the chests in the arena battle

that was my only shot huh?

>don't want to play an elf because all your armour turns into gay leafy shit
>feel like corpse eating is too cool/good to pass

REEE

#NotAllSkeletons

>user keeps posting about bone widow
>never posts where you obtain it
fug

I went after one and it had 1 water ballon in it, I think its just consumables for the fight.

You'd have to waste 1 AP to switch between the weapons. Seems to default to one of them if you have conflicting weapon types equipped.

just got blood rain really early on as random chest loot

is it actually good?

Just take Fane with you when you kill the crazy old bitch. Acquire shape shifting mask, eat all the corpses you want.

does peace of mind scale? it seems to give more stats now

Good for necromancer synergy

It applies bleeding, which is nice, offers heals to leech party members, and can be electrified or summoned from like water. Plus it combos with that blood heal spell.

I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't get at least some points of Summoning on every Mage, It's so fucking good.
