In the intro, the verbs are describing what's happening next, so for instance

is how the lyric flows, so each of those actions should describe the line below it. eg.

would be more in line with the delviery of the song.

I think of grooves as what you're literally sneaking between, so a groove can describe a finite amount of space or at least describes the shape of the finite amount of space one could be traveling, but if its not very intuitive, I can understand completely.
