It's dead in the west. Hearthstone didn't catch on in Japan so it's doing fine there. The majority of people who play this games are card game fans, people who don't like hearthstone, and people who stopped playing hearthstone for something different.

But now the game is pretty much hearthstone and the west population has cratered.
