Slav tanks are so good right now that it's impossible to get a game with them, because everybody is playing them.

Americans had virtually no tank industry at beginning of WW2. Suddenly command asked for tank with 75 mm gun, but they had no factories able to cast big enough turrets for it. Rather than wait until they're built, they came up with this ugly thing to fill gap.
