HoI3 is tedious, not complex. It's the ultimate autism simulator. You manage your brigades into divisions into corps into armies into army corps into theatres, it takes a hell of a lot of time and is only to be played if you have extreme autism.
DH is showing it's age at this point, so if you want that be prepared for a very obtuse UI with almost no shortcuts and the shortcuts it does have are really fucking annoying to use, like pause break. And if you reassign it to space you then can't use space for anything else, it's just agony.

Conclusion: If you're autistic play V2, if you're a casual shitter play EU4, if you're an über autist play HoI3, and if you're an absooute casual wall to wall turbo babby then play hoi4 not recommended).
