First for Hunter bantz

Beta strike is fun

good luck commander

So are we finally going to get Terror From The Deep in XCOM 3 or will they pull another 2 on us?

IT IS UNFORTUNATE, COMMANDER, THAT YOUR RECENT PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN SO...MEDIOCRE

>attack facility with ruler present
>expect snek king
>it's actually his swole majesty

Post ideas for Templar outfits so they may lead you to VICTORY

My top specialist just one-shot the viper king with an overwatch repeater shot. And for good measure, he killed his viper escort with extra overwatch procs. He solo'd a whole pod with overwatch shots, god damn.

Templars are the best

>Xcom2 keeps crashing
REEEEEEEEEEE

All they need is the 2B hair

There is only one hairstyle suited for the Templars.

How'd you do?

...

Everybody lived, although there was a lot of limping and whimpering afterwards. Long live the infirmary.

Did you kill him, or did he just get tired of beating you up after a while?

Agreed.

Yeah but sadly the Super Sayan hair mod has yet to be updated

Hi guys

>Templars all wear contacts and use hair dye
Lame

...

I'm okay with gay fanart, but it better not be shitty looking.

Have some pride, man.

...

...

Reinstalled my game.
I really hope it is not a save file issue.

I tried out the extended Avatar timer and I kinda regret it. I feel like it takes away important aspect of game balance and makes the whole strategy layer silly.

On the other hand extended mission timers makes the game feel much nicer, but >opinions.

Is that supposed to give me an Alarak vibe?

I turned his ass into a pudding pop. But if I hadn't brought two bonded pairs and a magic man for stasis/inspire it might not have worked out as well.
23 possible photo locations and this was the closest one to him though, trying to rain on my victory parade here.

Who is the Pinochet of the XCOM world? Does Firebrand throw captured mind controlled aliens out of the back of the skyranger?

What is an Alarak and why do I already not like it?

Funny, I feel the exact opposite.

The edgiest prottoss to have ever graced the Starcraft franchise, and funnily enough the only good part of the Legacy of the Void campaign, think Warlock ham scenery chewing stuff but far edgier.

He's the biggest fucking asshole in Starcraft 2 and he's one of the few objectively good things to come out of that game. I blame his voice actor doing a great fucking job.

The obligatory snarky asshole character in every modern Blizzard game that inadvertently comes off as the most sane and likable character because of how shitty everybody else is

The Viper King just gave up after a point, it just kept skipping his turn until he died.

>Starcraft
That explains my ignorance.
I have never found a single part of Starcraft interesting. Which is odd considering how far I fell into Warcraft.

Speaking of, how do the Ruler turns work now? I thought I read somewhere that they only got reactions after being hurt, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Look on the bright side, you didn't have to experience 2's story.

Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm is the most disappointing thing since my son

They don't get reactions for actions made out of their sight. Also for passive stuff like reloading if I remember right.

They get an action for every blue/yellow move you make that isn't a reload. Basically anything that isn't a free move like lightning hands, grapple, etc. I think the only thing that's changed is reloading not triggering the free actions now and things not in their LoS.

You're better off this way, Starcraft 2 was a pretty big fuck up, at least when it comes to the story.

Can someone reupload steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1137788865 somewhere. I can't buy Jake's game.

A good number of threads ago, some user posted this image. I know the helmet is from the Titanfall gear mod, does anyone recognize the other stuff?

Warden Gear. Get it.

The armor might be Warden gear, I think it's the only mod that changes T3 armor around.

Horrible looking Warden Gear. There's literally no reason to like that mod if you have even an ounce of good taste in your body.

It is fun indeed. Only annoying part is how it sometimes more than just doubles the HP of stuff you need to break. Shit having 160/120 HP makes it look like a bug.

So I noticed the Chosen get 5? HP after every strength gain, how do I mod that to 10 so they're a better threat when faced with lategame weapons?

Thanks anons.

I share the sentiment at least about some of the helmets and how bloated some of the armor pieces get (The WAR parts to be specific). But at least is something to spice up T3 armors, now hopefully the Merc weapons mod gets updated soonish so i can ditch the vanilla plasma guns.

Are A Better AI and Improved Chosen AI any good?

Name of this body mod, please.

A NEW WORLD AWAITS ME

DefaultGameData_CharacterStats.ini has their stats, be aware they have separate entries for each strength level and difficulty.

>my son
My heart goes out to you oldfag

it's probably a reference to red letter media, but whatever

I think it's awfully rich that the mod developer complained that warden looks silly because muh no pouches, then turns around and slaps a plate carrier on half the options.

That being said I'm glad he made the mod for those who dislike the shininess of warden.

>most disappointing thing since my son
damn, I won't ask

Of course it would be some gay pop culture reference. user should sign up to work for Seth MacHacklane

I'm using A Better AI with Improved Chosen AI. It's hard to notice how other AI have been changed, but Sectoids and the Warlock—who actually uses his gun now—are my early-game legendary nemesis. Shieldbearers still do stupid shit like put themselves in positions to flank and just solo shield. I don't think it makes the AI easier, so even if it does nothing but make Sectoids dangerous its worth installing.

>very difficult
>hack the train
>surgical
>counters : high alert

yeah fuck you too

What was that mod that make it so you don't get units just from 1 faction?

I must be one of those freaks of nature, I see all the flaws but I still liked it... just like the star wars prequels...

Heart of the swarm was clearly a rush job though

I finally WoTC, but well actually, Xcom 2 for the first time, at Rookie, now should I play it at Veteran or go all the way to Commander with Beta strike or what?

I'll give them a go in that case, thanks user

>Supply raid in the second month
>sitrep: the lost
>bring a rookie, 2 Lts (reaper, grenadier) and squaddie mox
>things go smoothly at first
>then several pod activations
>and the fighting brings the lost in droves
>AND THEN THE FUCKING ASSASSIN SHOWS UP and fucks my boy mox
>gets bitchslapped by the lost
>grenade + fall damage + blood trail reaper shot brings it to 1hp
>run rookie up
>the fucker actually hits the 62% like a madman
>but now even more lost and mox went from dazed to bleeding out
>ace rookie has to run up the ladder and block access (blue arrow)
>grenadier sets evac and wants to fuck out (green arrow)
>reaper on the other side of the world (red arrow)

>evac grenadier, conceal reaper and move for the evac
>snek grapples a lost
>lost action
>game crashes everytime at this point
FUCK OFF! I'm so close to just use the console to get rid of this shit

Nice Siege RP. I'd recognise these sneakers anywhere. And the SAS gas mask. And the glasses you get for making REALLY BIG FUCKING HOLES , coming right up!

It's called changing MaxHeroesPerFaction in gamedata.ini to something like 15.

I don't use ABAI because DerBK makes questionable design decisions and I don't trust his judgment.

I like Chosen AI's modifications to Warlock's spectral zombie ability. It led to some interesting turns where he would summon his minions, then summon his zombies, and then try to mind control my soldiers. I did see him double move a couple of times though.

Hunter I didn't see that much improvement with (granted I only had a couple of engagements with him). Tracking shot's range was apparently increased, but I only had to dash it once. He also for some reason rarely used it; I'm not sure what the cooldown on it is but it's either too long or there's something weird going on with the AI.

Tracking Shot has some really weird LoS, I've had times where it's following me through entire buildings and other times where a signpost apparently completely cuts off his vision. Not using the mod though.

thanks.

>ultrasonic lure on the chosen

ahahahahahaAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Pretty sure that ini change only makes it so you can get up to 15 units from your starting faction.

There's 2 checks in game, one for unit cap and the other for whether the faction was your first. You have to mod out the latter check as far as I know.

steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1126788564

>Pretty sure that ini change only makes it so you can get up to 15 units from your starting faction.

Sounds good to me.
All Templar team, box in enemy drops with pillars and turrets and bladestorm

tier 2 helmets look seriously awful

They look like ugly car rollcages

Honestly, it grew on me. I did come to like the cobbled together, ugly unfinished look

can't get over the weird facial expressions on the human female though

also her hair. is that supposed to be cornrows?

>set 5 Sparks to build in the proving ground
I'm coming for your ass, Warlock

Just bring mindshields

I'm pretty sure that exact mission format 'Supply Raid + Chosen + Lost' is guaranteed to show up.

>The Avatar's actually have gendered models

Huh. Never noticed that before.

>just waste a slot
Mind shields are a meme.

Skirmisher should be called X-Ayy

Yep.

Got my first female Commander's Avatar in WOTC. I'm not sure if they changed it for expansion to be able to be female or if RNG just always gave me male Avatars.

I wonder before teleporting out, the commander had a look at the equipment their body had.

Asaru is a girl (male)

But the Commander is a girl

I wonder if the elders experimented with their new bodies

sexually

And?

Why do you think Snakes become less common as the game goes on and the Aliens continue to make progress on the Avatar Project?

The Commander is a ruthless killing machine with latent psionic abilities dedicated to the annihilation of all alien invaders on Earth

Fuck I had never seen this but now it'll become harder for me to use this helmet

>ruthless killing machine
Women, am I right?

Soundtrack lad
command and conquer generals OST WHEN?

But the Commander is a man

>GLA themes playing as you're fighting through an ADVENT city

The Commander is Gender: Other (Tactician).

...

Not my game or pictures, but the male Avatar looks much better.
