Riskrunner was able to to turn the boss into a puddle during arc flares thanks to electric floors.

So did I, but in the opening cinematic is spells out that the Traveler chose to stay and fight. So while Rasputin forcing the Traveler to help would add some grey to the story, give it less plain good vs evil and more creation vs destruction or nurturing vs competition (in that the Traveler nurtures its species, whereas the Darkness has them compete to grow stronger), that simply doesn't seem to be the case.

Alright Warlock bros, I'm light level 280 and have some gear to play around with now. What exotics/class have you found to be best for PVE?

Right now I'm using the Crown of Tempests with MIDAs for Arc class. Anyone know of some better DPS combos? Maybe Hard-Light instead of MIDAs (does Hardlight arc dmg work with Tempests?)? Anyone experimented with Dawnblade and Wings of Sacred Dawn?

What's the best Hunter set up for Mobility/Resilience/Recovery for PvE? PvP?

I'm still rocking voidlock for the devour spam. It's still insane and gets even better if you have the exotic Winter's Guile. It increases your melee damage with stacks of melee kills. I was using it in the raid and was able to kill multiple yellow enemies with a single punch.

I understand DO not seeing it, the Vangaurd satelites were knocked out. No communications in or out of the city. But FWC looks into the timestream. Cabal can't knock that out.

As hungerlock, niggeracs sin is irreplacable for me. Only thing that sucks is prism nightfall as i usually only have void damage mods on my weapons to synergize with it. Thank god i have borealis at least.

I know Better Devils is supposed to be the de-facto "best" hand cannon, but AS is the first legendary I've actually gotten.

Well I said I've got Hardlight too, but my MIDAs is a little higher so i've been trying it out.

I tried that melee build out but it felt pretty underwhelming for boss fights. I was having a lot of trouble keeping devour up

Devour procs on shooting too, so you don't have to melee every single time

You dont have to lie. There is a known bug that allows you to spawn into the underbelly in that exact spot.

What mods are best to use? Mods that increase resilience/recovery seem to be the best but I haven't gotten a legendary version of those yet so not sure if they even exist as anything other than blues. Or is the difference not that good and I should stick with faster ability/grenade/melee mods?

Yeah I know, I just found myself caught with devour up and nothing to shoot but the boss so it kept dropping off and leaving me with a long nade CD. Like i said, felt pretty underwhelming, but maybe that's just me being bad though

It's OK. Outlaw is good, but as an energy weapon, it's just shy of a one shot on some enemies.

The melee gloves are fun for memes, but if you want actual viability from devour, use nezarac's. When devours up, void weapons refill your nade in like 3-4 kills, allowing you to devour again even if it runs out.

Ideally your devour cooldown shouldn't be too long since proccing devour recharges your grenades. Try to keep timing that out pretty well

Maybe I wasn't navigating it properly but the only door I found on the inside that would open for me was the door to the gardens. Maybe its not high on their priority since it only lets you bypass the door opening part?

Currently 3/6 for a fresh raid in about 20 minutes. We have one new guy so it's okay if you're new.
