MVP/host chest are a big deal though. Drop rate up only affects ONE chest, which is the flip. You're going to get WAY more loot you need from red chests than you will ever from drop rate up leeching flip chests.
Drop rate up is really only a big deal on quests where every chest is a % and you can get dozens of chests, like the special quests for mat farming.

They're aware of the problem, as I recall. We've already had red chests extended from #1 to #1-3, and they are going to extend that up to #5 for some raids. Going much further beyond that would just incentivize idling even more.

Other games kinda solve it by making the score the "currency" that you can trade the drops. GBF has the similar system like prestige but it's more like a welfare thing and super easy to stack with wanpaning.

It can be a red chest or a gold chest with special stuff in it, I forgot the exact contents of gold, I think its the same possible contents as a flip?
But by the way that's why I'm concerned about increasing the number of people who get red chests. When they increased the number from 1 to 3, they diluted the red chest with more junk so red chest is not as good as before, if we ever saw them increase red chest drops to like... top 15 or something equally outrageous, we'd probably have the red chest barely having better contents than normal chests.

The game was more fun and interesting as there was always something going on.
