Yea, I figured that the main issue was that I was trying to do too many things at once by building Victoria Undermine/Firaga stacks and rotating with physical damage. Keeping the Undermine/Leadership buffs up by Rotating out Victoria while keeping WoL on defense should allow me to take him down... eventually. Sometimes, sure and steady wins the race; I suppose.

closed beta was pretty bare bones. the only things you could pick up was food ingredients, and even then only one at a time (picking up a new ingredient would drop the one you had) You ate the food immediately during the next section of quest. The only way to get equipment was to complete quests. Unfortunately no level or equipment progress was saved in between quests during the beta which really sucked.

You have 4 weapons slots, an ability slot associated with one of the 13 lucis kings, magic is now part of weapons so if you have a katana with thunder then you can do thunder magic, if you don't have a spell on a weapon then it does like a magic puff instead
So you can effectively have 4 magics and 4 weapons at once now as long as those weapons have magic on them, instead of magic taking up an entire weapon slot
There is some sort of leveling for the weapons and they have passive abilities too There is probably accessories too
You can't use items to heal during combat and instead music use cure magic
the new spells and cure are tied to your MP, warpstrikes cost lot more MP now and point warps only recover like 5-10MP.
Different sigils like rogue sigil gives you airsteps on every weapon, or the pious sigil gives you magic boost and stronger tier spells, or the tall sigil gives massive attack boost but can't use cure magic, stuff like that
