Why did the game cuck us from that sweet Ouma suffering? Chapter 5's climax is the closest we got and even then, they could have shown his struggles to move and breath more. The rest of his suffering isn't even voice acted.

He also said Ouma making a joke about Kaito's death in Chapter 1 and saying "I won't be surprised if a body turns up later on" meant he knew Tenko and Kaito were going to die the way they did.

Miu is hot and her story is only somewhat interestic, it seems Kodaka purposefully made the charactershallow, most of her character i know is from the fan works, its just a shame.

Now imagine him constantly ranting about how a serial killer is a complete dindu who shouldn't take responsibility for his actions nor should get thrown into jail on /pg/.

This ship would be a lot better if their interactions were more fleshed out on Saihara's part. Getting generic "Ueh!?", "Eto.." and "What is Ouma-kun thinking?" over and over again gets old.

That's kind of a problem with a passive player character in general. He has some fun commentary during the FTEs and chapter 3, though, and does give him some good thought during his conversation with Kaito in chapter 2.

Didn't he mention at one point that he tried to make her unlikable? truly the worst crime of all

I think it had some neat ideas but maybe felt like there wasn't enough time spent on each of them.
Or Kodaka isn't good at tightening up things.
Maybe somehow the story felt kind of fragmented?

I honestly feel like Ouma's last FTE would've been better had it been incorporated into the actual plot. It does a nice job of showing his thinking patterns, actual intentions, foreshadows the end of the game and Saihara's ultimate choice ("winning" the game by not playing it). It ties in really nicely with the main plotline.

One of those damn training sessions could've been used for other characters, dammit.

Despite it, Miu's actually got 4th place in Japanese popularity poll. Kodaka did make Miu's character in-game so unlikable that everyone didn't find it enjoying in hang out with her. Even Junko out of all people hate Miu's slutty personality in bonus mode.

I remember Komatsuzaki saying 'Those who don't like Nanami aren't human.' Kodaka agreed and also said something along the lines of 'Nanami is busty, sweet, gentle and plays games. The perfect girlfriend.'
