450, confused Tamil for Marathi and Danish for Swedish and decided to try Wu Chinese after Vietnamese turning up so many times.

I swear, it's the indian languages that sink me every time. How do you tell them apart?

I managed to get them through recalling the accents of my respective Indian, PAkistani and Bangladeshi classmates

Hindi sounds like Sanskrit, Urdu sounds less like Sanskrit and more like Arabic, Telugu sounds like nothing else. You can tell from the accents too.
