unless they all have exactly the same recoil, that doesn't matter. What people do in CS:GO is fire into a wall for hours forming muscle memory, so if its different for another gun due to RoF/Recoil, you'll have to learn that too.

it would be a proper buff if his traps did lethal damage, as of now depending on context it could be considered a nerf. traps no longer instant killing is a big deal, especially when they only deal 40 damage. he will definitely be getting picked more but for the wrong reasons.

Fair enough, though I think people are overestimating how much a predictable recoil pattern benefits people. I do want Siege to require more mechanical skill, without taking away from the tactical aspect, because that's the kind of game I personally prefer but I've probably been kind of unfairly dismissing people who don't though that has been going both ways.

New patterns look like shit anyway so hopefully they don't add them in.

This is something you'll see in pretty much every team based ranked game.

There is this band of players, slightly above the lowest ranks, that are just perpetually furious.

These people often have a decent amount of time in the game and think they deserve higher ranks than they have.

The only problem is they blame everything on their team or bullshit and refuse to improve.

Considering the nature of siege, you could have a gold player in silver because he's solo queuing or a silver player in gold because they play as a team stack.

But it is at its absolute worst in Bronze, it gets gradually better the further up the ranks you go.

Put a laser on your shotgun, otherwise you should be ADS'ing.

Every team based game has this issue.
I'm guessing it would be way more difficult to balance on games where roles are much more strict(like MOBAs). Since you would have to rate a player on how good he accomplished his role.
For Siege roles do exist, but they're not that strict. However, certain operators are better at killing than others, meta. Then you have people that are very good at supporting but bad at being offensive, and so on. How would you place someone in ranks when there is different roles to fulfill?
Well, the one that best adapts and has higher skills has better ranks than the one that sticks to a single role and needs a better team to play. It might be unfair for some but it should only have a bias of a league(as in plat, gold, etc) or a couple of ranks(as in 1,2, etc).

Although, this is if you ignore TKrs and AFKs
