Decode Talker is the best Link3 so far and you can make him with Gofu for free turning the tokens into Link Spiders or Proxy.

Sorry, should specify, when a set trap/spell activates, it momentarily is counted as not being on the field, so it's not on field to trigger Counter. Shit makes 0 sense but lulrules, and that's not just a TCG thing, that's in all territories.
