This is everyone's complaint and it just shows how many Mercy players could have been replaced by bots before her changes and you wouldn't notice a difference.
I love this change because it makes people play her more actively and her ult gives her a much needed escape. Yes, you'll never get potg with her, but you'll always get a card at the end because you're actually doing something rather than hiding behind a wall holing a button.

Yes made a few teams rage quit.

Of three that come to mind, one seems to play Junkrat and Zenyatta mostly with some Mercy, one plays D.Va almost exclusively, and one seems to be a relatively high up competitive player but she has a Mercy icon, not exactly sure if she mains Mercy, didn't check her profile.

If your entire team is next to you, there's a Reaper flanking, and no one notices, it's good to have an escape that isn't dependent on the rest of your team being competent.
But yes, I should have mentioned it being a self reliant escape.
