It needs the wording of "..."Dark Magician" monsters..." change to "..."Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl"..." so that it could be searchable Magician's Rod, Inheritance, and Circle.

It can easily be done since the card DOES predate all current Dark Magician support that made the deck somewhat capable of being played as a decent Rogue deck.

But the new Fusion literally makes it almost nearly capable of competing with most decks in the current format.

The downside is as mentioned, Timaeus cannot be searched with the way it currently is worded.

If the new Odd-Eyes monster is level 8 or lower, it will be searchable by Revolution Dragon. Granted, it will probably be a year until both dragons exist in the same format...

Better protection and recovery. Infinity is once per turn in a game where people spam effects. This new monster just eats Extra Zone monsters and then does nothing. It even has a lower ceiling than the original Fortress Dragon.

It's like they didn't even try with the Cyber Dragon. It has no synergy with the deck. The Dark Magician makes a soft lock with a staple card in the deck. I bet the Odd-Eyes is way better than the Cyber Dragon too. KOA continues with their GX hate. I bet Japan gets a new Cyber Dragon next year that blows this shit away and gets made into a Secret over here.

It's because SPYRAL were already set up to be a good Link deck, all they needed was a Link monster of their own. Add that with the Link monster having a cost-free summon from the deck, as well as being treated as the monster the whole deck revolves around, and you have a recipe for absurdity.

How does that give it synergy with the deck? How does it help the deck? It's meant for generic decks to splash in Cydra to eat up Extra Zone monsters. It doesn't advance the play of Cyber Dragons. If it ate up every monster Linked to a Link monster when it ate a Link monster it'd at least be amazing and generic. Right now it's just meh and generic.

And Master Plan is perfect for Link summoning.
