I've never tried Winter but I can say with utmost confidence Karnstein is dogshit. The energy gain is miniscule you're better off using Nezarac (which is shit too btw but atleast you dont have to melee)

I've always had shit luck farming.
I spent almost all day today farming on titan with a Fireteam medallion and didn't get a single fucking exotic.
28 fucking legendaries though.

I want Nezarec's Sin but no luck so far. I've got Eye Of Another World, Crown of Tempests, Winter's Guile, Karnstein Armlets, Wings of Sacred Dawn and Lunafaction Boots.

In Gauntlet why do runners call out the ring they see that doesn't jeed shooting? Why not just call the ones that do?

I average 1-2 exotics per medallion. that's with constant public event farming btw for those 4 hours the medallion is active.

I was going back and forth doing heroic events and patrol missions for a good 6 or 7 hours, and used 2 fireteam medallions.
In reality I was just farming for Sloan Tokens, but it's fucking amazing to me that I didn't find a single exotic while I dropped a legendary almost every single encounter.

The game has been made even more casualised. They don't care about the hardcore fans of Destiny that burn out of their simple content quite quickly. They focus on the casual normies who take two weeks to finish the camapaign. I bet there are some who still don't even have enough shards for Xur and are probably thinking "Ooh he's a bit expensive, might take a few weeks before I have enough for him".

Fucking casuals ruinibg everything. But what's even worse is that companies like Bungie are actively catering to them now. Fucking bullshit. We made games what they are then the normie fags just storm in and fuck it all up becaue they're too shit to play but also commit to a game.

Do they ever make more then one Ornaments for an erotic tier weapon? Did they in the first game? Not like I will use this weapon anyways but I hate destroying rare cosmetics if they ever happen to make a better looking Ornament.

some exotic weapons in D1 had 2 ornaments.

We did the cross shooting method. So say you're on Axes. Runner spawns in at Dogs. You turn to Dogs and shoot the lower of what ever is called out and the guy on Dogs shoots the top.

Then you'll turn back to your signs because your runner should be coming up. He calls out whatever, you shoot the top of the two, and the guy who was on Cup has turned and shot the lower sign.

Rinse and repeat.

Every exotic had 2 ornaments in the first game, and dismantling ornaments doesn't actually do anything in this game apparently.
Dismantled the Wardcliff coil ornament I got day 1, and I was still able to apply it today when I bought Wardcliff from Xur.

Obviously it's each to his own but I just found the crossfiring method much simpler and less likely for a fuck up. Especially if you're running the raid with people who haven't done it before.

It also seems like you can get to the Psion quicker this way. As the person on the platform can just jump down next to its spawn as soon as the sign goes green and smack him. Then you have no chance of projections spawning which means one less wipe trigger worry about

I mean, I'm man enough to admit that my friends and I are casuals and it usually takes us 3 tries or less to do the Nightfall. But the first time, we usually don't worry about the timer so we can get more of a feel for the strike and figure out where the time modifiers are and how they work. Second time we'll usually fail from just stupid mistakes resulting in team wipe. But then by third we're like a well oiled machine.

How the fuck are people doing 5 + tries and still failing? How bad could you possibly be?
