He's not dead, since he's still regularly logging on moddb. I think the lack of commits on cwp means that it's "done" insofar as he's waiting for 1.5 to be officially dropped, so he can clean up whatever needs to be fixed, like the scope magnification since alun changed how that works recently.

I'm totally new to the saga, is there a "behavioral ruleset" on what am I supposed to do/avoid while in the zone?

Night is nice as long as you keep aware of surroundings.
Difficulty is strongly correlated with your weapon's accuracy - always ALWAYS keep one designated headshotter to remove zone scum cost-efficiently, it will make your life easier

You should still use Shaders MAX, it's faster than vanilla with the performance preset.

As far as i remember there were no real nights in SoC, reloading would always change the weather, you have nights in CS and they're annoying as hell, unless you get SRP and get a sleeping bag with fixes it.

Pretty much, just remember that weapons can be horribly inaccurate, always try to low crouch before shooting (ctrl + shift) and aim for the head, loot all the corpses for ammo, you can unload captured weapons, this is a really handy trick i didn't know at first, and always buy lots of ammo when you get to a trader. And save regularly, hard saves especially, you don't want to accidentally quicksave around 10 anomalies and 3 bloodsuckers.

Fun fact, stance only affects hipfire accuracy.

Just finished installing everything after a while and get this error on startup.
Grabbed nearly all the mods from Moddb or the MEGA link.

Edit your armor values/suit degradation if you want to ease up the difficulty a bit. Find some artifacts that prevent/heal bleeding as well. This might seem like a lot, but not with the amount of incoming damage you can take so quickly (or instantly) in ZoA

Well, I got memed.
The disassembly feature in 2.2 is complete ass.
When you disassemble shit you can get two types of items, spare parts or scraps, split between large weapon, small weapon, heavy armor and light armor, amount depends on the item.
You can also disassemble launchers, attachments, electronics, etc for batteries or lther items.
Spare parts are single direct use while scraps are ust auxillary to other repairs.
If you use a sharpened tool to disassemble shit instead of limited use kits, there is an RNG chance that decides if you get spares or scraps, the odds change depending on the type of sharpened tool, shovel/hammer/knife/etc.
The spare parts and scraps only add 1% condition each, the guide claims it increases if the gun is in a better state but I'm not sure.
