I don't understand the History V Fantasy rift. Don't we all just want the total war game to be GOOD? If Saga is Shogun 2 tier then good, if Warhammer 2 is Warhammer 1 but better, then good.

I don't understand people defending history as if its unblemished when Rome 2 exists. When I played Rome 2 I felt like i'd been slapped in the face, WH at least proves that CA still knows how to make a game.

Dude! TF2 is awesome. Do you play, too? I'm a spy main because, let's be honest, your average gamer is smart but I'm just a little smarter. Outwitting my enemies is something I do effortlessly, but it never fails to be fun. That's why I like the TACTICAL total war games that aren't World of Warcraft garbage.

is this a decent deployment setup? Can any veteran TW players give me some tips on how to do army formations/setup? I'm trying to get out of the "line of infantry, line of archers" mindset. I'm having a hard time figuring out where best to deploy monsters and large units. This photo is looking at the deployment head on, if you can't tell.

it's not real total war, that's the issue

it's world of warcraft. it's a game where you're a wizard and you kill all the orcs but it's top-down so you can pretend there's actual tactics involved, but there aren't.
