If you don't ramp, you'll play PDK on your turn 7, that's late. I'm not a dragon player, but if I'd theorycraft PDK deck, I'd play at least Aiela and Sibyl to enable the PDK pings sooner.

I think she fits on a controlling deck that either plays the value game with poly or chips away health until aldos (or any other finisher)

I'm going with a ramp deck so I have a higher chance of pulling prime dragon and then flooding the board post 7 with low level mobs

For midgame, I figured I'd just play PDK and a bunch of low cost followers to proc it, though it doesn't sound all to good now that I think about it.

PDK doesn't have an effect until overflow.

The problem is that good face dragon decks don't run ramp and have already won the game before you hit overflow
If you hit overflow as face dragon you are either losing, or on the brink of winning and just waiting for a topdeck to finish them off
She has no place in traditional face dragon
She MAY be a niche in some new mid-range deck, but I suspect it will be a half-assed meme like the old fishycraft decks people tried to make work

For me early game is turns 1-4 before evolves while midgame is turns 4-7 where evolves get used around willy-nilly.

Literally every game ends on 7. Last 15 Dshifts I've played against all had a T7 shift. What the FUCK.

I'm scared about the nerf. Falise, Snow White and Scarlet nerfs were totally unnecessary. I hope they just nerf actual problem like Alice and Lion instead of fair cards like CoCK or Oz.

Unsheathed opens worlds of possibilities while Lux makes it so I don't have to brick my deck too hard. Lux is one of the most specific tutors possible thinking about it. She's sort of insane.

Also, Cock is slightly less great now since every single bane follower in the game is now a huge liability T5 and past against Sword.

Don't you know? Dshift is hard to play. You need a deep understanding of game mechanics to run the deck. That Dshitter wasn't very good because they clearly weren't skilled enough to use the mass removal it had.

Nope, I have 3 Albert, 3 Alice, and 3 Cinderella. I also have about 30k something worth of vials going into SFL.

After a long time of playing this game, I've come to the point I start recognizing cards I really want, but never want more than 1 of. Between Staircase and Lux, I'm near guaranteed to draw Albert by the time I want him.

Barbarossa is also another example of a card you don't really need more than 1-of, he recycles himself.

I run 3x now, but I just know near every Sword player with Unsheathed in their deck is going to run at least 1 Leo too once SFL hits. Spade Raider is going to be an unfortunate existence.

Im really not sure if its just a vanilla follower with a overflow active mediocre effect. or either its a passive 2 damage when playing an allied dragon follower and a ping in overflow but still a couple more days until the expansion to see that my theory is correct or horribly wrong and anons going to bullying me for it
