I thought people that thought Links wouldn't ruin the game died off already. Links didn't slow the game down, they slowed Synchro, XYZ, and Pendulum down and then replaced all of them with a more generic summoning method, which is itself. Links are the ultimate cash grab and a blatant paywall.

They were hyped and shilled nearly nonstop not only by the community, but by Konami themselves, with KOA touting it as a new Tier 0 deck even off the record.
Then, despite getting an obscene amount of support over 15 different sets - including an exclusive Noble Knights promo box - they ended up being raw shit that were dead on arrival, with every new card supposedly "saving NK" only to have them continue to be shit.
The archtype is a joke.

Expect bricks. Extra Deck is anything because Percy has NO LINKS. Valhalla + Turmer/Ciel is the standard opening combo but good luck getting that.
I used Kaiju before because of synergy with Thunder Pattern, but currently trying a higher numer of painters, so i removed it for now.

Hero will never get a non Fusion Extra Deck monster. Cyber Dragon getting a Link is just a matter of time. Same with Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes. I doubt Synchron, Blackwings or Red will get one. They'll keep them pure Synchro.
