futai/ravi weps (especially the weps) are stupidly overkill
3-5 minute hunts aren't fun or skillful.

I've seen a lot of people knock the Bow but is it really that bad? It was my first choice for a weapon

it's not bad, it's just that it has a pretty high skill floor, and most players aren't good enough to use it well.
these players then go on Veeky Forums/etc and shitpost about how the weapon is shit.

bow was my first and favorite. it's easy to pick up but difficult to master. Coatings are limited and most retards cant be bothered to bring materials to combine on hunts.

Exactly how strong is the actual guard of the CB's shield in brave mode relative to red shield or yellow shield? It feels weaker than red shield, but glavenus is a horrible reference point since this cunt's tail seems to hit guards harder than a dragon rocketing from the heavens at the speed of sound.

It's so close to being a good design. If it hadn't been Frontier-ified it would be actually good.

What people don't realize is that Frontier's problem is not that there are spikes, but rather that the spikes look ugly. With some changes this could be fixed.

Turn the gold wing spikes gree to match the skin's color and texture. Right now they look like they were just slapped on; changing the color is enough to fix them. It might look better if they were smaller though.

Remove the neck spikes and instead make them into a Lagiacrus-style hood. This presents the "regal" look a lot better and is also more aesthetically pleasing. You can keep the definition of the spikes in place, just stretch a webbing between them.

The spikes on the arms could actually be bigger and more defined. Make them less symmetrical.
