Like, they're not being held back by last gen anymore so they have so much to work with, that at this point the lessons they've learnt throught the series, as a company, as a community, with everyone. I feel like they've made this game very beautiful.

So I gotta pick this game up because no one I play with wants to play anything else aside from Overwatch and inevitably Pubugguh because no one has taste or opinions.

Here's my problem. I played a ton of Destiny 1. A fucking shitload. I kept playing through again and again hoping something would get better. While TTK was an improvement for sure Rise of Iron was a joke. And from what I played of the beta Destiny 2 seems like it will be even worse than Destiny was for the first few months.

So what can I do to make it fun? I know my buying it is inevitable but I want to know how I can keep it from being unplayable to me within the 100 hour mark.

Don't ask the thread what it thinks about that weapon that just dropped, look at it's perks and try it yourself and see what you think.
