Here's the thing. By the normie eye, NRS makes 'adult' & 'controversial' games with the MK series starting with 9, so a lot of people are going to be attracted to said company. Injustice rolls around & gathers more customers who like DC, mainly Batman & Superman. That audience stays & makes a lot of money. Capcom have recently staggered with RE7 & with their practices, people leave. They also don't gather any adults because 'who cares about video games anymore, not adult enough'. Marvel also shit the bed with recent comics & Netflix. Ikes Inhumans project has been laughed out the door & now that audience is staggering. Normies who watch the movies just watch the movies & nothing more & all the PR & advertising was bad with the Story Mode Demo & Combofiends failure as a PR guy, talking bad about both sides unintentionally with his comments about X-men & Skullomania, X-men being a main problem. Memes start to ensue & some normies hear in passing not to buy the game & then every thing tumbles down from there.
